Why Britney Spears’ Son Jayden Makes Her ‘Cry Everyday’

Singer Britney Spears says she is crying every day now that her son Jayden is back in her life, but that is not necessarily a bad thing!

The “Oops! I Did It Again” singer shares two sons – Sean Preston and Jayden James – with her ex-husband, Kevin Federline. Although they had a strained relationship while she was subject to a court-ordered 13-year conservatorship from February 2008 to November 2021, it looks like she and Jayden are quickly making up for lost time!

Just before New Year’s Eve, the “Toxic” singer took to Instagram to share three photos of her son, Jayden, looking visibly older in an oversized red tee shirt and baggy jeans. He has a gold chain around his neck as he stands in the middle of a field, not looking at the camera.

In the caption, Britney claimed that he was “mine forever” before adding, “It’s weird we’re like twins but he’s a boy and I’m a girl!!!” She admits that she hasn’t seen him in almost three years and that she is “in shock” to see him looking so much older than the last time she saw him.

“He came back and he feels older and smarter than me !!! He’s a man and I cry everyday of my life because of the miracle and genius he is !!!” she wrote. “When he plays the whole earth shakes !!!” Jayden reportedly came back from Hawaii to live with Britney in California and look into music schools in the area.

Just a few days ago, over Christmas, the “Crossroads” actress shared a video that featured her planting a kiss on her son’s cheek while a fireplace crackled in the background. Britney looked visibly overjoyed as she clutched a glass of wine and cuddled up with her son in front of the camera.

“Best Christmas of my life !!! I haven’t seen my boys in 2 years !!! Tears of joy and literally in shock everyday koo koo crazy so in love and blessed !!! I’m speechless thank you Jesus !!!” she wrote in the caption of the post, which was liked over 625,000 times.

Although things have been tense for the Princess of Pop over the past few years, it looks like things are finally looking up. Her relationship with her boys seems to be better than in the past, with a source telling Us Weekly that she is “excited” about the possibility of repairing her relationship with Jayden and Sean.

“He’s open to mending the relationship with his mom and seeing where things go. Britney was very excited to hear from him; [it] means everything to her,” one source told the publication after Jayden reportedly reached out to live with her while looking at schools in the area.

Although there has been headline-making conflict in the past, it looks like Britney’s relationship with her son, Jayden, is better than ever. Although Sean is still living with his father in Hawaii, it looks like her improved relationship with Jayden is benefiting their relationship as well.

One insider told the publication that Britney and Jayden have “been getting along great” and that “Britney’s convinced they’ll have a flourishing relationship in the near future.”

“It’s all she ever talks about,” another insider divulged. “She would love a second chance with them.”

Although she is repairing her relationship with her sons, it seems that things are still tense with her mother, Lynne Spears. An insider told the publication things have been “rocky” between them, but Britney still “wants to improve” their relationship.

“She misses her and gets sad about her family dynamic,” the source added.

However, the “Baby One More Time” singer will reportedly never make amends with her father, Jamie Spears, now that her conservatorship has officially come to an end.

As for her siblings, it looks like Britney is looking to repair her relationship with her sister, Jamie Lynn Spears. Following her divorce from actor Sam Asghari, Britney has also gotten closer to her brother, Bryan Spears, and “talks to him often.”
