Rihanna Shares 2025 New Year’s Countdown With Fans

Rihanna shared a New Year’s Eve countdown with her fans on Instagram on Jan. 1.

The “Woo” singer shared the video with the caption, “New Year, New Me,” and it featured Rihanna saying that she hadn’t consumed alcohol at all in 2024.

Rihanna was celebrating with several friends and watching the annual ball drop in New York City on her cell phone.

Rihanna shared the video with her fans on Instagram on Jan. 1, and the clip featured the “Diamonds” artist counting down to the famous ball drop in Times Square in New York City on her cell phone.

“Four, three, two, one. Happy New Year,” said Rihanna. “Y’all, I didn’t drink all year! I didn’t drink allyear.”

The video ended before fans could see if the Fenty creator brought in 2025 with a cocktail. However, several of her friends could be seen drinking from champagne flutes. The video has been viewed more than 1.6 million times so far.

Riri also shared a video of a friend washing her tracks in the sink with shampoo from Rihanna’s Fenty beauty line.

The post was captioned, “De Dirt!!! We walking into 2025 CLEANSED baby! 1 track at a time! Also tell @mdollas11 stay out my bathroom!”

As her friend washed Rihanna’s tracks in the sink, she exclaimed, “You owe me a new bottle! For one stinkin’ track!”

The “Umbrella” singer told InStyle that she is “obsessed” with her pores, and Fenty Beauty has a new face cleanser on the way.

Fenty’s Cherry Dub Pore Purify’r gel cleanser will be available on Jan. 2.

“I’m obsessed with my pores; ask anyone!” she said. “If your pores are tight, you’ll get a smooth canvas for makeup; if you’re going makeup-free, you’ll look fresh and photo-ready.”

Riri also noted that the gel cleanser has a good scent that “smells like home.”

“It just makes the whole skin-care experience super sensorial—you get this juicy red color and uplifting tropical scent,” she said. “It smells like home to me! It’s fun to look at and smells amazing, which I think is the key for consistency in skin care. You gotta love the whole experience to be able to do it all the time and get those results.”

Rihanna launched her beauty brand in 2017, and she told the outlet that her brand is “Beauty For All.”

“One of the things I love most about the beauty world and the beauty community is that it’s a space where everyone can — and should — be able to get involved,” she said. “From the start when we launched Fenty Beauty back in 2017, we said our brand is about ‘Beauty For All’ —and we meant it! So when it comes to makeup, skin, fragrance, or hair, I really wanted everyone to be able to get in on it and see themselves in our brand.”

The “Work” singer added that the Cherry Dub Pore Purify’r Gel Cleanser was a product she needed in her daily routine.

Rihanna shares two young children with rapper A$AP Rocky, RZA Athelston Mayers and Riot Rose Mayers, and she shared that being a mom has made her more patient. She added that finding time for herself is sometimes challenging.

“Finding that ‘me’ time never seems to get easier, but it’s also never been more important,” she noted. “I try to do it whenever I can—it’s never the same time or the same day. Becoming a mom has definitely made me become more flexible and patient when it comes to myself. But being the best version of myself helps me be the best mom, so self-care has still gotta be a priority, even if it looks a little different these days. If you feel good, you’ll look even better.”

When asked what her New Year’s resolution was this year, the “Unapologetic” singer exclaimed, “Sleep! I feel like I say that every year.”
