Naomie Olindo showed up to Craig Conover and Austen Kroll‘s new bar, By the Way, in Charleston amid news of his split from Paige DeSorbo.
As she also took to her Instagram Story to showcase her new home in South Carolina, the 32-year-old Southern Charm alum, who dated Craig years ago, prior to his three-year romance with Paige, 32, was spotted enjoying time with friends as she turned up to By the Way shortly after it opened its doors for the first time, prompting fans to ship a potential rekindling of her relationship with Craig, 35.
In a photo shared on Reddit on December 30, Naomie was seen holding a drink while chatting with a group of women.
After the photo was shared, a number of social media users reacted to the news, with many reasoning that Naomie’s visit to By the Way wasn’t anything controversial.
“Considering it was the grand opening they have the same friend group, her family is in the restaurant business and she does social media influencing, it’s really not surprising that she would be there,” one person noted.
“I don’t think it’s weird,” another agreed. “There were a lot of [Southern Charm] and Southern Hospitality people in the video, they were all probably invited for promotional purposes. She’s on good terms [with] both Austen [and] Craig so I’m sure they invited her.”
Others pointed out that Craig is likely heartbroken over his split from Paige and not yet ready to date.
“The man lives in a Hallmark movie in his mind. I wouldn’t be surprised if we get some fake teary story about how he bought a ring at the Southern Charm reunion or whenever he has a chance to speak on it,” someone wrote.
Still, others suspected that Naomie and Craig could make it work at the “right time.”
“I love Paige but Naomi and him would be awesome since they both have grown and matured,” one person shared.
“Unpopular opinion but… I like Naomi better than Paige. Something about Paige rubbed me the wrong way,” another added.
In other Naomie Olindo news, she confirmed at the end of last month that she officially purchased her “dream home.”
In a joint post with realtor Scott Cheney, Naomie was seen with her new dog, Olive, in the front of their new place.
“Closing day today for one of our favorite clients on her new home! …. Congratulations Naomie (and Olive!),” Scott had written in the photo’s caption, via Bravo’s The Daily Dish.
In a series of posts that followed, Naomie took her fans and followers inside her new place, which boasts a stunning chandelier, hardwood floors, plenty of windows, and ornate trimmings.
“Olive got a new house today,” Naomie captioned one of her pics. “Thank you [Debbie Peretsman] and [Scott Cheney] for our new dream home!”
She then showcased what appeared to be a living room, saying it was her “little slice of heaven.”
In another space, a large cabinet and a couch were seen alongside a piece of art by her late father, Joel Olindo, who passed away in 2019.
“Home. Art by my dad. Most beautiful lamp from [Lyndon Leigh],” Naomie revealed.
