This week’s retro trailer is for the 1993 western classic Tombstone. The reason I’m posting this trailer is because I recently met someone who had never seen the movie before!
So, I busted out the trailer for them to watch and after watching it for the first time in years, I thought I’d share the trailer for the rest of you to give you a reminder of how great trailers were in the 90s!
Tombstone is a 1993 Western film that chronicles the legendary story of Wyatt Earp (Kurt Russell), his brothers Virgil (Sam Elliott) and Morgan (Bill Paxton), and their ally Doc Holliday (Val Kilmer) as they seek a peaceful life in the boomtown of Tombstone, Arizona.
However, the town is plagued by lawlessness, dominated by a violent outlaw gang known as the Cowboys, led by the menacing Curly Bill Brocius (Powers Boothe) and the deadly Johnny Ringo (Michael Biehn).
After an escalating series of conflicts, the Earps and Holliday are drawn into the infamous Gunfight at the O.K. Corral, setting off a larger vendetta to restore justice.
