Jen Aydin was allegedly removed from her planned “Wives at Sea” cruise following her controversial video about a Jersey Mike’s employee. She’ll be replaced by a “surprise housewife,” and fans reacted to the news. Meanwhile, castmate Danielle Cabral spoke out about the video, declaring that “trash take[s] itself out.”
Last season on Real Housewives of New Jersey, Jen pointed out that Danielle’s alleged hair stylist claimed she wasn’t paid for her work. A glam artist then alleged that Danielle mistreated her team at BravoCon, putting them in a ‘$30 a day’ hotel that was 45 minutes away from the venue, and forcing them to pay for their own Ubers.
In Jen’s recent video, she complained that an “80”-year-old employee at Jersey Mike’s was too slow in making her sandwich at the airport on New Year’s Eve. Many fans slammed the star for being insensitive and offensive.
According to a report from Bravo and Cocktails, Jen was removed from the “Wives on the Waves” cruise that she was planning with Teresa Giudice and Dolores Catania.
A description claims the cruise will now feature Teresa, Dolores, and a “surprise housewife,” who will “be named soon.”
Fans then shared their reactions in the comments.
“Good!” exclaimed one critic. “[Jen] thinks her behavior in the airport was hilarious and it was beyond vile. That elderly person didn’t deserve that treatment at all. If someone did that to her mother she would go ballistic!”
“Actions have consequences!!” wrote another.
“I’d throw myself into the ocean if I was stuck on a ship with that woman,” said a third.
“She embraces her dark passenger and lets that thing record itself,” wrote a different user.
Meanwhile, Jen’s co-star Danielle spoke out amid the Jen controversy.
“I’m usually really pretty good at holding my tongue, keeping my mouth shut … not saying anything, take s**t from every which way and I feel like I don’t want to today,” said Danielle in an Instagram video. “So in light of all the s**t that’s been going down, I feel compelled to say if you guys only knew what it was like to be involved with this person while she’s berating me on how I treat people, and lying to the point where it was delusional.”
She then seemed to suggest that Jen started their drama on RHONJ after Danielle decided to cut her out.
“It broke my heart to know who people truly are and to see their true colors. Once I find that out done, bye, see you later,” Danielle continued. “And I guess it drove people insane that I’m so easily able to cut [others] out that they just spiraled and wanted to talk s**t, and spew s**t, and hatred and lies.”
“Imagine being a person who only looked out for people. I wanted everyone to succeed, even that a**hole, even this schmuck with what she did the other day,” the star went on. “A leopard never changes its spots. At the end of the day, the truth always comes out and true colors of certain individuals always comes out. I will stand my ground until the day that I die, I will take the bullets from the nonsense these idiots spewed.”
“Let this be a true testament, don’t always believe everything you see on TV. I can’t say [I’m] vindicated because … people were actually hurt by this,” Danielle expressed. “To see the people in this video, this woman that was working at seven o’clock … I’m sure you all felt the same way, but damn man, we gotta do better … Sit back and you’ll watch the trash take itself out.”
