President-elect Donald Trump has accused President Joe Biden of intentionally complicating his return to the White House. In a post on his social media platform, Truth Social, Trump claims Biden is implementing last-minute executive orders and legal manuevers.

“Biden is doing everything possible to make the TRANSITION as difficult as possible, from Lawfare such as has never been seen before, to costly and ridiculous Executive Orders on the Green New Scam and other money-wasting Hoaxes,” Trump wrote. He explained to supporters, “Fear not, these ‘Orders’ will all be terminated shortly, and we will become a Nation of Common Sense and Strength. MAGA!!!” The statement was released before Congress formally certified Trump’s Electoral College win, confirming his return to the White House, the New York Post reported.
President Biden faced criticized earlier today from Republicans after banning offshore drilling for oil and natural gas across areas larger than the combined lands mass of Alaska and Texas. Biden’s aides have been racing to commit funds allocated through major spending bills passed during his tenure. These include the $1.9 trillion COVID-19 relief package, the $1.2 trillion bipartisan infrastructure law, the $280 billion CHIPS Act, and the $437 billion Inflation Reduction Act, which heavily invests in environmental initiatives.

White House officials said in a statement that approximately 98% of the funds from these bills have been allocared and remaining resources have been distributed before the transition. Additionally, the Biden Administration has sent $183 billion in fund congressional funds to support Ukraine’s defesnse against Russia’s invasion, sparking more concerns among Trump’s allies.
Previously, Trump complained about flags flying half-staff amid the passing of former President Jimmy Carter as it will remain at the position past his inauguration.
