Here’s How Allison Holker Sparked Criticism & What She Said While Airing Out Stephen “tWitch” Boss’ Alleged Drug Addiction

Earlier this week, PEOPLE Magazine unveiled its latest cover story, which featured Boss’ widow, Holker. Subsequently, the outlet shared a joint post with Holker via Instagram.

Furthermore, the major tagline on the cover reads, “He Was Hiding So Much.”

Additionally, PEOPLE released an 18-minute video interview with Holker via YouTube. During the sitdown, Holker alleged Boss experienced drug addiction before his death in December 2022. Furthermore, Holker alleged that she learned of her late husband’s alleged condition while preparing for his funeral.

“I was with one of my really dear friends, and we were cleaning out the closet and picking out an outfit for him for the funeral,” she said. “It was a really triggering moment for me because there were a lot of things I discovered in our closet that I did not know existed. It was very alarming to me to learn that there was so much happening that I had no clue [about].”

Ultimately, Holker alleged she’d found a “cornucopia” of drugs in her late husband’s items, which allegedly included mushrooms, pills, and “other substances” she “had to look up.”

According to Page Six, during her interview with PEOPLE, Holker acknowledged Boss’ alleged indulgence with marijuana and also “alluded” to him “being sexually abused by a male figure during his childhood.” Lastly, Holker explained that since her husband’s death, she’s read his journal entries and developed empathy for his “sadness” and “pain.”

Ultimately, the widow reportedly shared that she would expand on what was shared and her grief process in her upcoming memoir, ‘This Far: My Story of Love, Loss, and Embracing the Light.’

Stephen “tWitch” Boss’ Family Reacts Alongside Candiace Dillard

Subsequently, reality star Candiace Dillard took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share her disdain for Holker’s allegations regarding her late husband.

“I’m not even gonna say it. But this white woman is doing everything BUT protecting her Black children and her Black husband‘s legacy. She could’ve kept this in her therapist’s office. SMH,” Dillard wrote.

In addition, a woman named Elle, one of tWitch’s cousins, took to X to react to Holker’s revelations. Elle asserted that tWitch did not have a drug addiction and was “trying to quit” smoking marijuana before his death. Furthermore, Elle accused Holker of making tWitch’s family sign NDAs to attend his funeral.

“She’s been trying to tarnish his legacy and refuses to let the Boss family see the children. Only to exploit and LIE on my cousin. Hell no,” she added.

Per Page Six, Courtney Ann Platt, a former friend of tWitch’s, shared a lengthy message via Instagram, blasting Holker’s actions. Additionally, Platt’s words were reportedly reposted by Boss’ brothers via Instagram.

“This is by far the most tacky, classless, opportunistic act I have ever seen in my entire life. We all had to sign some weird NDA to attend his funeral (even his own mother who you’ve treated like garbage this entire time and let’s just remember you wouldn’t have even had a husband if it wasn’t for her) not to share anything or ruin his name as if that was on anyone’s mind in the first place and here you go and write a book with all the dirty laundry smearing his name and attempting to dim the bright loyal, loving, light that was your husband, my friend. Whether any of it is true or not is actually beside the point,” Platt wrote in part. “This is how you protect the ‘Boss name’ you so quickly dropped on your social media platforms 48 hours after he passed? His legacy? This is how you protect his children from any further humiliation, hurt and despair? This is what you want them to remember about him? You have moved on, you’re living your life, you’re on every carpet you can get on, every celebrity row you can sit in, every magazine you can be in and you needed to do this? Get a journal, a therapist, a friend…but publishing a book shamelessly sharing the pages of your husband’s journal? People magazine? What a joke…”

Allison Holker Addresses The Criticism For Her Comments On Stephen “tWitch” Boss

According to Page Six, Holker has yet to directly address the concerns of her late husband’s family and friends. However, on Tuesday, January 6, she reportedly responded to a comment left on PEOPLE’s joint video post.

“This whole thing made me sad. He’s gone. Why tear apart his name?” Kelly Gibson, a fitness trainer and dancer, reportedly wrote. “I was fully supportive about you moving [on] and being happy but this paycheck was not worth disgracing his name.”

In response, Holker reportedly wrote:

“I’ll always love you. Just trying to help people feel safe to ask for help and support.”

At this time, tWitch’s mother, Connie Boss Alexander, has not publicly reacted to the Holker’s revelations and subsequent backlash.
