Britney Spears Silent On Instagram As Pacific Palisades Fire Spreads

Fans of pop star Britney Spears have been concerned for the pop star as the Pacific Palisades fire continues to spread.

The “Toxic” singer lives in Thousand Oaks, which is north of the flames that have claimed the homes of celebrities like James Woods and Anna Faris.

On January 7, the “Oops!… I Did It Again” singer shared a few photos that featured her posing in front of the camera wearing a strapless long-sleeve red dress. She didn’t write anything in the captions of her posts, but she did share emojis of both a knife and a rose.

Amid the four photos, Spears seemed to be pulling down her lip as she gazed into the camera. In addition to her heavy eye makeup, she also put her long blonde hair up in a messy updo.

Fans have expressed concern for the pop star on social media and asked for reassurance that she was safe, but it seems the pop star has yet to answer… at least for now. Although the fire seems to be spreading, she is situated away from the worst of the blaze.

However, according to WeatherBug, there is an unnamed fire 14 miles away from the heart of Thousand Oaks.

Unfortunately, Britney Spears’ best friend Paris Hilton has not been able to entirely escape the blaze. Although her primary residence remains intact, her beach house has been reduced to rubble, as reported by TMZ on Wednesday afternoon.

The beachfront property has burned down along with many other celebrity homes that had previously sold for millions. In the case of Anna Faris, only the foundations of her $5 million dollar home remained. The heat from the blaze was so intense that the water had completely evaporated from her swimming pool.

Sadly, Diane Warren’s beach house was also consumed by the blaze. On Wednesday afternoon, she shared a photo that featured a single rock on the edge of the ocean. She revealed that, although her beach house of thirty years is gone, the animals on her property managed to survive.

“This is the last pic I took of Leah’s rock from my beach house. I’ve had this house for almost 30 years. It looks like it was lost in the fire last nite [sic]. There’s a rainbow shining on it which I’m taking as a sign of hope for all creatures who have been affected by this tragedy,” she wrote. “The animals and the rescue ranch are OK tho which is the most important thing. Stay safe everyone.”

On Tuesday, as the fire began spreading, James Woods shared footage of his home as it was being consumed by the blaze. Thankfully, he and his family were able to evacuate safely; however, the condition of his home remains unknown.

Around 3 AM on January 8, he tweeted that all of the smoke detectors were going off in his home at the same time. “I couldn’t believe our lovely little home in the hills held on this long,” he wrote. “It feels like losing a loved one.”

Evacuation routes began to close as the fire spread from Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, but many braved driving through fiery conditions on their way to safety. James Woods shared a video from the friend of a neighbor that showed the harrowing escape that many had to make.

In a tweet pinned to the top of his page, Woods wrote, “We renovated a home after COVID and just finished last month. To all the lovely people offering care and love, I’ll say this. There is no possession as priceless as friends and good neighbors during a tragedy. I can’t believe the blessings we enjoy, and I am humbly grateful.”
