Paige DeSorbo Clarifies Communication With Marcello Hernandez

Craig Conover and Paige DeSorbo may have split more recently than we previously thought as Paige is also clarifying her relationship and communication with Saturday Night Live comedian Marcello Hernandez amid cheating rumors involving them.

Paige, 32, addressed rumors suggesting she cheated on Craig with Marcello, 27, on Tuesday’s episode of her and Hannah Berner’s podcast while also speaking out against some of the backlash she has received since the news of her split broke.

“I knew this week was going to be a little tough. I was not expecting the amount of misogyny. And the 64-year-old boy moms can absolutely f*ck off,” Paige declared on the January 7 episode of Giggly Squad, via Breaking the Rules Pod Clips on Instagram. “I feel like I was extremely graceful and nice on the last pod. That was just one version of me, okay? I made the right decision for myself.”

Paige went on to say that while she doesn’t care about “any rumor that is ever said of me,” she felt that she could not allow the rumor linking her to Marcello to continue.

“When I first saw that, I died laughing. I was laughing. I felt weird. I was like, I feel like I had to text Marcello because, what if he has a girlfriend?” she recalled.

Then, as she failed to outright deny the report, Paige shared her past communication with Marcello, insisting she’d only texted Marcello “one time to get me in the SNL Shane Gillis after party.”

In other news, after Paige claimed she and Craig, 35, wanted to give each other “a little time” to deal with their breakup privately before sharing the news publicly, it has been revealed that a Cameo video the Southern Charm cast member made for a fan was shared on Christmas Day, just five days before Paige confirmed their split.

“Hey, what’s up, Tonya? I just wanted to pop in from right up here in Delaware, actually, to wish you the merriest of Christmases on behalf of myself, and Scott, and tell you, Tonya, if you are half the person that he tells me you are, I know we will get along just swell. Hopefully, we’ll have a chance to meet you in person, whether you guys come on down to Charleston and visit the store or I meet you while I’m traveling around with Paige next year,” Craig said in the clip.

He continued, “There’s so much gossip to catch you up on from the crazy town of Charleston. I mean, it’s enough for five shows, let alone the two that are there now, and half the stuff’s too crazy for television.”

As the video was reposted by Bravo Boo on Instagram, comments made on Reddit were seen.

“The breakup announcement on 12/30 must have happened more quickly after the breakup [than] we previously thought,” someone had written.

Meanwhile, in another message, a commenter suspected Paige knew Craig was going to propose, potentially during the holidays, and broke up with him before the holidays to save him the embarrassment and money.
