ComingSoon is debuting an exclusive Blades in the Darkness trailer for Indican Pictures’ upcoming horror slasher movie. It hails from filmmaker Alex Visani (Born Dead, The Pyramid).
“The film follows the story of four friends with diverging ambitions. Three are driven young entrepreneurs smuggling cash into Tirana, Albania, with plans to transform a forgotten war-era bunker on the outskirts of the city into a trendy new restaurant,” reads the official synopsis. “The fourth, however, is a desperate man willing to do whatever it takes to settle a dangerous debt with a ruthless local mafia boss. As the group is hunted one by one, the sawmill’s chilling history begins to unravel, revealing a twisted tale of violence, vengeance, and madness. With no escape and nowhere to hide, the friends must confront their deepest fears and piece together the truth before they become the next victims.”

When is the Blades in the Darkness VOD release date?
Blades in the Darkness will be available to rent or own on digital platforms starting on January 28, 2025. The cast includes Manuela Arcuri as Commander Wife, Francesco Rossini as Commander, Arnold Damazzeti as Ilir, Lorenzo Lepori as Eagle Man, Ermir Jonka as Adrian, Ilirda Bejleri As Nua, Juli Emiri as Yala, Ismail Shino as Minush, Xhino Musollari as Idriz, Edvin Mustafa as Lejkan, Elidon Alika as Sophiane, Ingrid Monacelli As Giulia, Endrit Ahmetaj as Davide, Lucrezia Calogero as Maj, Lavinia Pinchi as Sylvia, Mario Bali as Balan, and Stiv Osmanaj as Artoran.
The horror movie is directed by Visani, who co-wrote the screenplay with Alessandro Albertini and Lorenzo Lepori. It is executive produced by Arnold Damazzeti, Judy Fox, and Armando Zorba, with Alessandro Albertini serving as the producer. In addition to writing and directing, Visani is also set as the cinematographer and editor.
