Viewers are eager to know the release date and time for Castlevania: Nocturne Season 2 on Netflix. The new installment follows Richter and his vampire hunters who collaborate with Alucard to stop the Vampire Messiah, Erzsebet Báthory. His mission is to bring darkness into the world by leveraging the goddess Sekhmet’s powers. The clock is ticking and the heroes are required to stand strong and battle their common enemy from doing the unthinkable.

When does Castlevania: Nocturne Season 2 come out on Netflix?

Castlevania: Nocturne Season 2 is expected to drop on Netflix on January 16 at 12 a.m. PT.

The new season will reportedly comprise a of total eight episodes, each expected to have a runtime of around 30 minutes. The predecessor season focused on setting up the young Vampire hunter Richter Belmont’s story amid the French Revolution.

He forms several allies and continues to fight the vampire messiah, who has evil plans in store for the world. It premiered in October 2023, and a week after its debut, it was ordered for a new season. This happened in the light of the first installment receiving good viewership and positive reception from fans and critics alike.

Showrunners Clive Bradley and Kevin Kolde expressed their gratitude to fans for loving the season and confirmed the renewal news. “Thanks to all of the ‘Castlevania’ fans old and new for the amazing response and support!” they said. “We are excited to be able to bring you more ‘Castlevania: Nocturne’ and the next chapter in the rise of Richter Belmont” (via Variety).

Castlevania: Nocturne Season 2’s Netflix release schedule

All episodes of Castlevania: Nocturne Season 2 are expected to drop at once on January 16 on Netflix.

The streaming giant does not offer a free trial. Hence, fans are required to subscribe to a valid plan to begin streaming the series.
