Techno legend Sven Väth, 60, has announced that he and his partner, Silvia Astore, are expecting a child.
The baby, who Väth called a “little miracle,” will be their first together and the DJ’s third overall. The reveal of the conception arrives as the couple celebrates 10 years of their relationship.
Astore, a 36-year-old Italian fashion designer and entrepreneur, joined the iconic Cocoon Recordings founder in celebrating via Instagram. The pair posed at the fittingly named WOMB nightclub in Tokyo, baby bump on proud display.
“Life is like a track – full of energy, twists, and magical moments,” Väth wrote. “Let’s celebrate life, embrace the rhythm, and create unforgettable nights together.”
Väth is now set to continue a world tour that will take him to venues in Munich, Bangkok, Zurich and many other major international cities.
