John Daly took to Instagram to convey the news of his injury to his fans. He posted a photo on his social media profile from a hospital bed, which showcased his left hand wrapped in bandages, as per Marca. The golfer captioned the image, “Emergency hand surgery… thankful [it] went great and Doc McClimans for taking care of me. Be back playing in no time!”
He then shared a separate post where he once again thanked the doctor who successfully operated on his hand. John Daly also expressed gratitude to his well-wishers for their supportive messages on his injury, writing in the caption, “Thank you to Doc McClimans for getting me mended back! Should be hitting em again soon! Thx for all the messages.”
Aside from his current hand injury, John Daly has struggled with multiple fitness issues in the past few years. He was tragically diagnosed with bladder cancer in 2020 and osteoarthritis in 2019.
