The tremors of Martin Garrix’s epic performance on Ultra’s storied Mainstage last year not only shook the foundations of Miami, but also the entire internet.
His DJ set has been confirmed as the year’s most-viewed setlist online, according to our friends at 1001Tracklists, the world’s leading DJ tracklist database.
One of the festival’s biggest crowds came on Saturday, March 23rd, when the Dutch superstar delivered yet another unforgettable performance and built upon an Ultra legacy that’s reaching mythical levels with each passing year. Garrix, who was recently featured in EDM.com’s list of the best music producers of 2024 threw down his signature blend of euphoric drops, unexpected twists and pure, unadulterated energy at Bayfront Park.
He dropped a bevy of unreleased tracks and entwined them with his most prized dance anthems, like “High On Life,” “Animals” and “Tremor.” A particularly poignant moment came with his spin of Avicii’s “Waiting for Love,” which Garrix premiered at Ultra’s 2015 festival after co-producing the record alongside the late EDM icon.
