Starz has released the first teaser trailer for its upcoming Spartacus sequel series titled Spartacus: House of Ashur.
The teaser sets up a “new era” of gladiator combat in the arena and you can bet that there is going to be plenty of plenty of blood and violence for audiences to enjoy.
The official description for House of Ashur reads: “What if Ashur (Nick Tarabay), hadn’t died on Mount Vesuvius at the end of ‘Spartacus: Vengeance?’
“And what if he had been gifted the gladiator school once owned by Batiatus in return for aiding the Romans in killing Spartacus and putting an end to the slave rebellion?”
The cast also includes Graham McTavish as Korris, Ashur’s Doctore, and Tenika Davis as Achillia, a fierce gladiatrix.
Spartacus creator, writer and executive producer Steven S. DeKnight serves as showrunner and executive producer on “House of Ashur.”
The teaser also reveals that the show will premiere this fall.
