Mauricio Umansky is one of the most successful celebrity real estate moguls thanks to the now-canceled Buying Beverly Hills and his appearances on RHOBH.
However, the estranged husband of Kyle Richards has been in the news quite a bit over allegations of questionable business practices. Now, he’s been hit with four new tax liens, bringing his total debt to more than $50K. The debt goes back multiple years.
People who follow Mauricio may be aware that the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star already had a tax debt that dates back to 2022 and 2023. In fact, it seems he owes about $31,464 from those years. This is the result of seven different tax liens.
He has also come under fire for a $3.5 million PPP loan from the pandemic. And more recently, he was called out over a social media post regarding the California wildfires, where he’s being accused of scouting for business during this tragedy.
According to Daily Mail, Mauricio received four new tax liens in December that total $20,068.10. These liens were filed in the LA County Recorder’s Office and are against Mauricio and two of his companies, The Agency and UMRO Realty Group.
Mauricio has multiple offices, and four of them have tax liens. This includes $12,664.88 for his Beverly Hills office, $4,732.14 for his Calabasas location, $2,373.92 for The Agency’s Sherman Oaks office, and $297.16 for Marina Del Rey.
This latest development comes after both Mauricio and Kyle were hit with a $6,542.50 lien in June 2024 resulting from their 2022 taxes. However, they quickly paid off this debt.
The outlet says it reached out to Mauricio’s reps for comment, but none have been provided at the time of writing. Fans can watch Mauricio on Buying Beverly Hills on Netflix as well as on old episodes of RHOBH on Peacock.
