Last year ended on a sour note for Kim Zolciak as it saw her and Kroy Biermann moving out of their long-time Georgia mansion home.
The two Real Housewives of Atlanta stars are still going through their lengthy divorce, and it seems like it may be a while before things improve. Now, Kim’s massive divorce attorney fees have been revealed, and multiple liens have been filed against their former home.
As fans know, the former couple filed for divorce in 2023. They then called it off, but then quickly refiled. Sadly, there has been a ton of drama between the two, including the police being called to the home as well as reports of emotional abuse.
Now, In Touch Weekly is reporting that Kim owes her divorce attorneys a five-figure debt for the long time they’ve been representing her. She is represented by the Snider & Snider PC law firm, and more specifically, Rachel Snider is listed in the filing. The debt has grown so much that they even placed a lien against the seven-bedroom home the couple has now moved out of.
According to the report, Kim owed about $55,143 as of October last year for the work the firm had done in her divorce. Regarding the lien, the firm will be able to collect the owed fees once the bank sells the foreclosed home. However, this isn’t the only lien against the mansion. The same law firm filed a previous one for $77,000, which means the debt decreased before the second filing.
Unfortunately for Kim, there is a third lien against the home. This one is coming from an attorney by the name of David Beaudry, and it’s for $33,000.
Last year, Kroy’s divorce attorney, Ryan Proctor, also filed a motion in which he claimed Kroy owed his firm a total of $79,000 as of October 17.
This all comes after Kim and Kroy have publicly dealt with financial troubles. Back in 2023, it was reported that the IRS had filed a lien on their home due to a tax debt totaling over $1.1 million.
Since then, Kroy has taken on a new job, and Kim recently did The Surreal Life. More recently, multiple cast members of RHOA have expressed interest in seeing her make a comeback to the franchise.
Fans can watch Kim and Kroy on older episodes of The Real Housewives of Atlanta on Peacock.
