Sutton Likes to “Kick a Dog When They’re Down”

Erika Jayne said Sutton Stracke likes to “kick a dog when they’re down,” and she questioned her claim that she wants “sisterhood” in the cast. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star also shared if she’s been on dates, and she revealed that she’s been living like a “prisoner.”

In November 2020, Erika filed for divorce from her husband Tom Girardi. Later that year, allegations surfaced that the attorney embezzled millions from his clients. Throughout the controversy, Erika has maintained that she had no involvement in her husband’s misconduct. Last August, Tom was found guilty of fraud.

Amid her legal issues, Sutton went hard against Erika, though they’re now in a better place. Last season, Sutton fought with Kyle Richards as rumors surfaced about her marriage. This year, Sutton is facing off with Dorit Kemsley, who’s struggling with her split from husband PK Kemsley.

“Sutton likes to kick a dog when they’re down,” said Erika in an interview with Us Weekly, via @bravosnarkside on Instagram. “That’s a fact. I don’t think anybody looking at this without bias would say anything different.”

Erika was then asked about Sutton’s claim to want “sisterhood.”

“I never bought into the sisterhood [remarks],” said Erika. “Because you have to lead by example. It’s great to say things, but then you gotta do it. And you can’t do it once. It has to be consistent, and it wasn’t.”

Despite this, Erika said she and Sutton are now on more “friendly ground” compared to past seasons.

“But I enjoy Sutton when she’s her bubbly, kind, fun self,” she added. “I do not enjoy her when she’s, you know, mean.”

The host then asked if Sutton was ‘delusional’ or ‘mean and calculated.’

“Both,” said Erika. “I think that there are times when Sutton is mean, and then I think there are times when she’s just, you know, herself. And we can all be a little delusional … and we can all be petty. But there are times when we’ve all been mean to each other.”

As for her love life, Erika said she hasn’t been on dates – and she’s happy to be “on my own” but also potentially “share this version of myself with someone.”

“I don’t think I’ll ever get married again,” she said, via @housewiveshabit on Instagram. “But it would be nice to share this time of my life with someone. But that’s going to have to be a really strong someone.”

Though she hasn’t been on dates, one of her intentions for 2025 is to “go out” and “circulate.”

“I cannot sit in my house for another year. I’ve lived there four years, basically, I’ve been a prisoner for almost three and a half years,” she said. “It’s time to get out more.”
