Andy Cohen Reacts to Claim of 3 RHONJ Cast Members Returning

Andy Cohen reacted to a report that only Melissa Gorga and Dolores Catania will return to Real Housewives of New Jersey and that Teresa Giudice will get a spinoff. Plus, he confirmed that Kelly Bensimon sent him a “list” of replacement castmates for Real Housewives of New York City.

After season 13, Bravo fired the entire cast of RHONY, and they announced they would replace them with completely new stars. The show’s ratings have nosedived, and many fans are calling for the return of castmates from the former cast. Kelly recently shared that she sent Andy a list of potential stars to replace the new cast.

Last week, OK! Magazine shared a report that all castmates from the previous season of RHONJ were fired except Dolores and Melissa. According to the anonymous source, Teresa will get her own spinoff.

On his Radio Andy show, the host was asked about the Real Housewives of New Jersey report.

“Bravo has said nothing,” said Andy. “No one has any information. There is no information. I cannot stress this enough. Y’all are not going to hear anything for a while.”

“If you don’t see a source credited, if it says, ‘inside sources say,’ or, ‘we heard that,’ then it’s not true,” he went on. “If it says, ‘Bravo has announced,’ or, ‘Andy said on his radio,’ then it is true. That’s what I will tell you.”

Andy confirmed that Kelly sent him a list of potential replacement cast members for RHONY.

“She did send me a list,” said Andy. “[Kelly]’s on the list. It was, I think, kind of anchored by her.”

“Funnily enough, she does email me more than you might expect,” Andy continued. “One of the people [on her list] is someone that I’ve known forever, and someone that, you know, who is not going to do it.”

The latest season of Real Housewives of New York City concluded in January. As of now, no one knows which co-stars will return next season. Kelly exited the show after season four in 2011.
