Quinta Brunson is ending her largely private marriage to sales manager turned cannabis industry worker Kevin Anik after 3.5 years of marriage.
The two wed around the same time Quinta’s award winning ABC/Hulu series “Abbott Elementary” premiered in 2021. But the marriage unfortunately didn’t survive Quinta’s skyrocketing career.
The 35-year-old Emmy winner filed for divorce this week in the Los Angeles County Superior Court, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason. According to TMZ, there is also a postnuptial agreement in place that states how their possessions and assets will be divided up. Since they do not have children, it should be a somewhat seamless process.
Quinta is now reportedly making upwards of $400,000 per episode of her hit series “Abbott Elementary” that she created, stars in and executive produces. And we are NOT mad at that.
As for her marriage, she was notoriously private about it. Many people weren’t even aware Quinta was married until she showed up on several red carpets with Kevin during Awards season. She also thanked him during her acceptance speech for Emmy win for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series.
The internets are already speculating on what (and who) could be next for her dating wise. But folks are still hilariously flabbergasted about her marriage itself:
Play nice, y’all….
We’re rooting for Quinta to bounce back and go for everything she wants – personally and professionally. Her fab new pixie cut she debuted recently is telling us she’ll do exactly that.
