Reality TV personality Katie Thurston has married her fiancé Jeff Arcuri, as per their recent statement. The update comes after she recently revealed her breast cancer diagnosis to her fans. In August 2024, Arcuri popped the question to Thurston, and they both got engaged.

Katie Thurston, known for featuring on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, and her fiancé, comedian Jeff Arcuri, tied the knot on Saturday, March 22, 2025.
The update was shared during the duo’s recent interview with US Weekly. The couple shared that they exchanged wedding vows in a close ceremony with just family and friends present in their backyard. Initially, Thurston and Arcuri were looking to plan a big wedding. However, the TV star’s cancer diagnosis made them alter their plans.
Talking about Arcuri’s proposal, Thurston revealed, “There’s a lot of emotions that come in with chemo and the impact and the health and we don’t know what the next year looks like. And one night he said, ‘I want to show you that I still love you and that I’m here to stay. I’ll get married to you tomorrow.’ We flew our parents in from Michigan and Washington State. We got our marriage license and a friend is just gonna marry us.”
Furthermore, the couple plans to have a big ceremony after Thurston gets well. Jeff Arcuri also elaborated on why they suddenly decided to get married. He stated, “I want to be able to be in the hospital with her and just be like, ‘My wife’s in there.’ There’s more power to that. I don’t want to be not with you for any of this.”
Additionally, Katie Thurston stated, “It was this kind gesture of him saying, truly, in sickness and in health. He is proving that he’s here to stay. He shows up every day and he does it in ways that just continue to surprise.”
Per the outlet, Thurston is also set to begin her treatment on March 27. She will be a part of the I-Spy breast cancer trial.
