Yes, you read that right. Some of the most iconic and soulful voices that filled our homes during childhood, and can still get our mothers, grandmothers and aunties on their feet, are all going on tour!
Patti LaBelle, 80, Gladys Knight, 80, Chaka Khan, 72 and Stephanie Mills, 68, announced on March 18 that they are coming together for a world tour that R&B fans have been longing for. The Queens Tour is set to hit arenas across the country this spring.

Sharing the news on social media via Instagram, Khan expressed her excitement at hitting the road with her fellow R&B divas.
“I’m beyond excited to hit the road with three incredible women — Gladys Knight, Patti LaBelle and Stephanie Mills — for a tour that will be nothing short of legendary!,” she captioned the announcement.

“The Queens are bringing the music and the magic to a city near you,” Khan added. “This is a celebration you won’t want to miss — who’s coming?”
But wait, there’s more. If you happen to miss the first leg of shows this spring, the ladies are set to come together again in the fall for a second leg, according to concert promoters Black Promoters Collective.

The Queens Tour officially kicks off on May 9 in Las Vegas at the Michelob ULTRA Arena. It will then make additional stops in cities such as Chicago, Los Angeles, Baltimore, Nashville, and Brooklyn before the final first-leg stop on June 1 in Indianapolis at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
Tickets were initially available via a March 20 presale at bpctickets.com, but they will be sold to the public on March 21 at 10 a.m. EST.

With decades of hits, albums, and awards between them, we’re sure the legends will have more than enough material to keep audiences entertained with every show.
