While Daredevil: Born Again continues to awe fans with a modified take on Charlie Cox’s masked superhero, updates regarding Season 2 have already started to come out that showcase Matt Murdock in the iconic Shadowland suit. While recent set photos have already hinted at Cox donning the fabled black costume, a recently released set video now highlights the actor duking it out with some rivals while wearing the suit.
Daredevil’s Shadowland suit gets highlighted in new Born Again Season 2 set video
A new set video from Daredevil: Born Again has seemingly confirmed that fans will get to see Charlie Cox switch to the Shadowland suit, with “DD” written on the chest, sometime during Season 2.
The clip, published by Splash News, sees Cox’s Daredevil taking on a batch of Wilson Fisk’s AVTF to supposedly rescue an aged woman in trouble. The Hell’s Kitchen guardian effectively defeats his enemies in the sequence as the woman watches in shock while standing next to a van. After clearing up his fight, Daredevil, wearing his Shadowland suit, approaches the reeling female to say a few words before exiting the scene in a flash.
While Marvel has yet to share any official word regarding the plots they’ll explore in Daredevil: Born Again’s follow-up chapter, the aforementioned set footage has all but confirmed that Season 2 will involve some elements from the Shadowland arc in the comics. Written by Andy Diggle, the renowned storyline sees Daredevil work his way to become the leader of the Hand after getting possessed by a mystic demon, The Beast. As such, Murdock takes on an all-black costume to go with his updated persona and embarks on an aggressive journey to rid New York of its crime.
Daredevil: Born Again Season 1 has already premiered six episodes of its nine-episode roster and will air the remaining three episodes in the coming weeks.
