Proud Papa Kanye West is crediting his daughter North West with renewing his love for music.
Ye may have seemed quiet in 2024, but he quietly added another major accomplishment under his belt—his first independent No. 1 record with “Carnival” from his collaboration with Ty Dolla $ign. After turbulent times that saw him released from Adidas and GAP, Yeezy might finally be rebuilding his empire.

This time, however, he might be doing so with help from his oldest daughter, North. On Monday, he dropped a flurry of Instagram posts including one where he said the 11-year-old is the reason he “fell back in love” with music.
“This little girl made me love music again,” Kanye wrote in a wholesome post dedicated to North. “She asked me to make beats for her I got back on the ASR Chopped up beats for her album and chopped every beats with my bare hand for BULLY.”
North was featured on Kanye’s Vultures 1 and also received not one, but two, videos for her track “Talking” featuring futurist Yeezy concepts. Last March, she announced her debut album, Elementary School Dropout, during one of Ye’s massive listening events.
The pressure is on for the debut album from the first-born West Kardashian, and thankfully, one of the greatest producers of our time is her mentor and her dad. Alongside North’s debut album, Kanye’s album BULLY is also on the way.
