Gisele Bündchen Prioritizing Quality Time Over MET Gala

The couple is reportedly skipping one of the most coveted fashion events of the year to focus on spending time with their new baby.

Gisele Bündchen and Joaquim Valente were first linked as a couple in June 2023 after her widely publicized divorce from NFL superstar Tom Brady in 2022.

The model reportedly has zero plans to attend the event alongside her baby daddy this year. The last time Bündchen was spotted on the steps of the MET Gala was in 2023.

Instead, Bündchen and Valente have chosen to spend quality time with their newborn in Miami rather than publicly appearing at the NYC event.

The couple welcomed their first child earlier this year, keeping the baby’s gender a surprise until birth. This child marks baby number three for the model, as she has two others with her ex-husband, Brady.

Rather than rushing into the limelight, TMZ noted that the lovebirds are enjoying a laid-back lifestyle, embracing sunny days and peaceful strolls in their neighborhood. 

The duo seems content with maintaining their usual pace, taking their time navigating this new chapter in their lives.

As reported by The Blast, Bündchen has fully embraced her new relationship with Jiu-Jitsu following her separation from the retired NFL star.

The couple married in February 2009 but divorced in 2022, which opened the door for Bündchen to explore this new chapter in her life. 

According to a source close to her, she feels “freer” and is “absolutely loving” this stage after feeling overshadowed by Brady for many years. 

Despite this, she remains grateful for her time with him and feels blessed to have their two children, son Benjamin and daughter Vivian.

Bündchen and her fitness expert boyfriend became parents to their first child, who is reportedly a baby boy with the middle name River in early February. Although the news of her pregnancy surfaced a few months ago, they chose to wait until the birth to find out the baby’s gender. 

Since giving birth, Bündchen has quickly showcased her impressive post-baby figure. She and Valente were recently spotted enjoying a boat ride in Miami.

The model looked stunning in a gray bikini top and white bikini bottoms, pairing it with gray lycra shorts. The couple shared a romantic moment as Bündchen showed off her relaxed demeanor and trimmed waist.

In January, a source revealed that Bündchen is thriving in her relationship with Valente. The couple had been considering a home birth for their first child together, though it remains uncertain whether they went ahead with that plan now that the baby is here.

The insider also shared that Bündchen appeared to be the happiest she has ever been, eagerly awaiting the arrival of their child. “Gisele’s doing great,” the source noted, emphasizing her happiness and well-being during this exciting time.

Last year, when news of her pregnancy first dropped, her ex-husband was said to be “shocked” by the reports. He reportedly never imagined Bündchen and Valente having a child together, even though he knew things were serious between them.

Bündchen reportedly broke the news to Brady herself shortly after telling their kids, as she wanted him to hear it from her rather than the tabloids.

As for Brady, the athlete has reportedly been facing challenges in his dating life as he tries to move on from the emotional impact of Bündchen’s relationship with Valente.

According to a source, Brady would love to be in a relationship, but he is currently focused on his first year as a commentator and prefers to remain single due to his busy schedule.

Initially, he faced emotional challenges regarding his past relationship, particularly regarding Bündchen. However, he has managed to move past these feelings by recognizing that worrying about things outside his control is unproductive. 

The NFL legend expressed frustration but feels he made the most of his time with Bündchen. Now that their relationship has ended, he sees it as no longer his concern and is confident about moving forward.
