Viewers are curious to learn why there’s no new episode of Tracker Season 2 airing on April 6 at its regular time. The popular drama series follows Colter Shaw, a fierce survivalist who leverages personal motivations and professional expertise to solve tricky cases and obtain rewards. While Episode 15 premiered on March 30, many are wondering why there is a sudden delay in this week’s episode. So, here’s all you need to know.

Why Tracker Season 2 didn’t air a new episode on April 6

Tracker Season 2 Episode 16 didn’t premiere, as its slot appears to have been taken by a musical event.

It’s a common practice for networks to take breaks between episodes, either to give creatives additional time to film and edit or to air a special program in their place. Typically, Tracker’s new episodes premiere at 8:00 PM ET on Sundays. However, on April 6, a new episode didn’t air because its time slot was occupied by a concert event. According to the CBS schedule, the network aired An Evening with Elton John and Brandi Carlile.

Episode 15, titled “The Grey Goose,” features Colter hiring a fellow rewardist, Billie Matalon. He tasks her with obtaining crucial information from a women’s prison. With the help of this information, he locates an escaped prisoner and her hostage.

When will Tracker Season 2 return with a new episode?

Tracker Season 2 Episode 16 is expected to release on April 13 on CBS.

Viewers need not worry, as the series was just on a one-week break and will return next week at its usual time. Episode 16, “The Mercy Seat,” will feature Colter teaming up with an old friend to find and rescue two missing women in snowy Montana.

Additionally, a surprising client pays Reenie a visit, testing her moral boundaries. While the new episode will premiere next week, in the meantime, fans can enjoy earlier episodes on Paramount+ with Showtime.
