Casandra “Cassie” Ventura has reportedly made a major decision regarding her testimony in Diddy’s upcoming criminal trial.

Cassie Reportedly Makes MAJOR Decision Regarding Her Testimony In Diddy’s Upcoming Criminal Trial
On Saturday, April 5, PEOPLE published an exclusive report asserting that Ventura is preparing to “testify against her ex-partner Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs in his upcoming sex trafficking trial.” Furthermore, the outlet repots that Ventura’s testimony will be given utilizing her name.
“She is prepared to testify under her own name,” a motion reportedly filed on Thursday, April 4, states. “Victim-2, Victim-3, and Victim-4 have asked that their identities not be revealed to the press or the public.”
Per the outlet, three additional victims included in the case have opted to testify against Combs anonymously. Furthermore, the victims will reportedly be “referred to at trial using only pseudonyms.”
“This case has already received an exceptional amount of media coverage, which will presumably only increase as trial proceeds,” the filing reportedly added. “Permitting these measures will prevent unnecessary public disclosure of the victims’ identities, and the harassment from the media and others, undue embarrassment, and other adverse consequences that would almost certainly follow if these women were forced to reveal their true names publicly at trial.”

Per the outlet, Diddy’s criminal trial is expected to begin on May 5. As The Shade Room previously reported, Diddy was initially indicted on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution in September 2024.
Per PEOPLE, a recent, updated indictment has included another charge of sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution against Diddy. The charges were reportedly added in relation to the case’s Victim-2.
To date, the music executive and his legal team have denied the claims against him.
The Decision Arrives Amid Cassie Preparing To Welcome Her Third Child
As Casandra “Cassie” Ventura prepares for her testimony against Diddy, she’s also preparing for another milestone. As The Shade Room previously reported, in February, Cassie revealed that she and Alex Fine are expecting their third child.
