Alexis Bellino is speaking out after being labeled as “so rude” for her alleged behavior at a restaurant in Scottsdale, Arizona.
After traveling to the area with friends to celebrate her upcoming wedding to John Janssen, 62, the 48-year-old Real Housewives of Orange County alum was called out on Instagram by someone claiming to have run into her, which prompted her to issue a response shortly thereafter.
“[I] saw Alexis out to dinner in Scottsdale tonight for her bachelorette trip. So rude!! I was waiting in line at the hostess stand and she just walked herself to the front without a care for anyone else waiting,” the person alleged, as seen in a screenshot shared by Bravo and Cocktails on Instagram.
Following the sharing of the message, Alexis, who was joined on her trip by fellow RHOC alum Jo De La Rosa, 45, spoke out with a message of her own, which was sent, seemingly by accident, to Bravo and Cocktails.
“Hey it’s Alexis from John’s phone as I can’t message you on my phone for some reason. Probably because I’m blocked by you. However, I just want to say that I’m so sad and confused why you’d say this,” Alexis wrote. “I was being led by my manager who handled all reservations I’m so sorry I hurt your feelings.”
According to Alexis, the hecticness of her schedule may have gotten the best of her.
“I was being pulled in so many directions that I was constantly struggling to know where to go. I’m very grateful for the Scottsdale environment and love it there. And the people are so kind and lovely I wish I could’ve met you,” she concluded.
As RHOC fans well know, Alexis faced tons of backlash amid season 18 as she seemingly rubbed her romance with John in the face of John’s former girlfriend, Shannon Beador, 61, who was dealing with the fallout of her DUI at the time. She then became engaged to John in August 2024 after just nine months of dating.
Alexis Bellino has confirmed she will not be returning to The Real Housewives of Orange County for its upcoming 19th season.
