Neighbor Shares Thoughts on NBA YoungBoy’s Return
On Wednesday, April 9, KUTV reported that the Louisiana rapper had returned to his home in the Olympus Cove neighborhood of Utah. He had been serving time for a federal gun charge. YoungBoy, whose real name is Kentrell Gaulden, reportedly arrived with heavily armed security guards dressed in black and wearing ski masks. The increased presence was reportedly intended to protect his home from trespassers. Judy Zone, a neighbor, spoke with KUTV about the heightened security, expressing her surprise.
“I didn’t know Kentrell was back,” Zone said, referring to the rapper by his first name.
Despite the security detail, Zone recalled a positive past interaction with YoungBoy while walking their dogs and said she plans to bake him cookies. Zone described the rapper as “a very sweet kid.” Watch the interview below.
