In the world of The Real Housewives of Miami, friendships can be as fleeting as a South Beach sunset. But the latest rift between castmates Julia Lemigova and Adriana de Moura hits differently—mostly because no one saw it coming, not even them.

Julia Lemigova, who joined RHOM as a full-time cast member in Season 4, recently opened up about the “sad and disturbing” fallout with her longtime friend Adriana de Moura during an appearance on Page Six Radio. Lemigova didn’t mince words when she described the emotional unraveling of their bond.

“For years, people have been telling me not to trust certain people, and I think I wanted to fight that, to fight what they were telling me,” Lemigova shared. “But now I’m finally opening my eyes and seeing maybe they were right all along.”

What makes the situation even more complex is the history between the two. De Moura, an OG of the franchise, helped bring Lemigova into the RHOM fold when the series was rebooted in 2021. But during filming for Season 7, Lemigova says de Moura turned on her in front of the cameras.

“She came directly at me,” Lemigova recalled, though she admits she’s still unsure of her friend’s motives. “Adriana is a very mysterious person. You never really know with her. You will see it.”

And it seems that both the viewers and Lemigova herself will be unraveling the mystery at the same time. “The incredible part is, as you’re watching the show, you will be discovering things about our relationship at the same time as I am discovering them myself,” she said.

Despite the confusion and lack of clarity around what caused the fallout, one thing is certain: Lemigova isn’t holding out hope for a happy ending. “I just know some facts, and it’s very sad and disturbing,” she said. “But, you know, what’s done is done. Life is going on. You just have to learn from things and just keep going.”

On the other side of the rift, de Moura gave her own subtle hints to Us Weekly in late March, teasing that Season 7 is full of surprises—including drama within her inner circle. “A lot of unexpected things that even myself wasn’t expecting,” she said. “On a personal level, there is some conflict with friends that I thought I was friends with, maybe not so much friends. The typical cattiness of Housewives.”

Still, de Moura pointed out that not all was lost: “There are so many new friendships. There are friends that were before that are no longer friends. We’re just very passionate here in Miami.”

With tensions flaring and friendships fracturing, it sounds like Season 7 of The Real Housewives of Miami is shaping up to be must-watch reality TV. And for Lemigova and de Moura, it may be the final chapter of a once-close friendship—played out for the world to see.
