Amid rumors that Erika Jayne is getting demoted on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, the star cryptically shared she’s been “punished” for being “too bold,” and she accused certain people of “toxic femininity.” Plus she threw some shade at former co-star Garcelle Beauvais for unfollowing her.
Last week, we reported that Garcelle unfollowed Erika and most of her RHOBH co-stars, including her once good friend Sutton Stracke.
During this week’s episode of her podcast Diamonds in the Rough with Teddi Mellencamp, Erika had a shady reaction to the unfollow.
Teddi asked Erika, “I have one other thing I need to ask you. Were you heartbroken when Garcelle unfollowed you?”
Erika responded, “Devastated. I’m about as heartbroken as she was when I unfollowed her back.”
Teddi to Erika: “I have one other thing I need to ask you. Were you heartbroken when Garcelle unfollowed you?
Erika *sarcastically*: “Devastated. I’m about as heartbroken as she was when I unfollowed her back.”

Earlier this week, an anonymous source claimed that Bravo demoted Erika, who recently expressed her wish that Garcelle was more “interesting.” According to the report, Erika was offered a ‘friend of’ contract for next season.
“Let’s talk about toxic femininity,” said Erika on the same episode of her podcast.
Her co-host Teddi then asked, “Do we know any of those?”
“Where do I begin?” Erika responded.
Teddi then asked if Erika thinks women or men get “punished” for being “too bold.”
“You mean you and I?” said Erika. “Yeah. Yeah, I do. I think I’ve been punished for being too bold … You have too.”
Back in 2020, Teddi was fired after three seasons on the show.
At one point in the podcast, Erika said cryptically, “Stay toxic. Everybody just stay toxic. [It’s] working for us.”
After the recent reunion, Garcelle announced that she was quitting the show.
“Hey guys. So, I have some news. I have decided to leave [RHOBH],” said Garcelle in a March 25 Instagram video. “It’s been a wild ride, I mean, some amazing things have happened, and some hard things have also happened, but it’s been a ride nevertheless.”
“One of the reasons why I’m leaving is my family, my boys. Their last year of high school is next year, and I want to be a part of that, and Jaid is starting a new career, and I want to be a part of that too. And secondly, I have the most exciting projects that I am developing, producing and acting in. I can’t tell you anything right now, but you’ll know soon,” she continued. “I just want to say thank you to Andy Cohen, to Bravo, NBCUniversal, Evolution, 32 Flavors, the producers, the crew and, of course, the ladies … Andy Cohen says I can come back any time, the door will always be open. So, you never know, I might pop in sometime.”
