A Simple Favor, the 2018 comedy-mystery-thriller from Bridesmaids director Paul Feig starring Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick, is getting a sequel.
After an initial screening at South By Southwest in March, Another Simple Favor will have its streaming premiere in May. But what’s the new movie about? Who stars in it besides Lively and Kendrick? And when and where is it streaming?

In A Simple Favor, neighbors Emily (Lively) and Stephanie (Kendrick) form a friendship that quickly goes off the rails after Emily disappears while supposedly on a business trip. Stephanie, a widowed single mom and vlogger, gains fame and notoriety while sharing her quest to track Emily down on her vlog.
Ultimately, Emily is revealed to be a triplet who collaborated with her sisters to kill their abusive father and then created a fake identity. After attempting to kill Stephanie and her own husband Sean (Henry Golding, Crazy Rich Asians), Emily is sentenced to 20 years in prison.
In Another Simple Favor, Emily is released from prison for unknown reasons and shows up to invite Stephanie to her wedding in Capri. She wants her frenemy to be the maid of honor as she marries a wealthy Italian businessman. A murder at the wedding promises that many more secrets and lies will be exposed.
