Trump Been Pointing Fingers at China — Now China Claps Back HARD
For years, Donald Trump been loud about who he blames for the pandemic. Every time COVID-19 comes up, he’s quick to say it came from a lab in Wuhan, China. And just two weeks ago, his administration threw gas on the fire again — pushing out another round of lab leak claims.

But this time? China’s not letting that slide.
They officially fired back — and they came with receipts. According to The New York Post, a section of the White House webpage now states: “A lab-related incident involving gain-of-function research is the most likely the origin of COVID-19.”
In response, Beijing dropped a whole white paper this week on their pandemic response, and they flipped the script. The paper straight-up suggests the virus that killed over 1.2 million Americans and 7 million people worldwide might’ve actually started in the U.S.
China Says The US Is Ducking Accountability — Calls For Full Investigation
In the white paper, China didn’t just clap back… they threw the whole book at the U.S. They claimed there’s “substantial evidence” the virus could’ve popped off in the U.S. before the world even knew about Wuhan.
And they’re demanding a deep dive, not into China, but into America’s role in how COVID started.
They wrote:
“The US has made China the primary scapegoat for its own mismanaged COVID-19 response.”
Whew!
China also called out Washington directly, accusing the U.S. of “evading responsibility” and ignoring real questions about how the outbreak even began.
China Tells The US To Stop Playing Deaf — And Start Answering Questions
Chinese officials are basically saying, “Enough is enough.” According to them, the U.S. can’t keep trying to sweep the truth under the rug. In their words: “The US cannot continue to turn a deaf ear to the numerous questions over its conduct.”
The World Health Organization (WHO) officially declared the virus a pandemic on March 11, 2020. Fast forward, and they didn’t lift the public health emergency until May 5, 2023. That’s over three years of chaos, shutdowns, and global loss, and now both countries are pointing at each other like, “You did it.”
And to keep it real, folks all over social media are eating this story up, debating everything from lab leaks to government lies.
The Bigger Picture: What This Means For Global Politics And Trust
The blame game between two global giants just got messier. Trump still stands by his belief that COVID was China’s fault. But now China is coming just as hard, basically saying, “Nah, run that back. Y’all started this.”
