Porsha is Accused of Not Wanting Shamea on Show

A childhood friendship’s cracks start to show on this episode of the Real Housewives of Atlanta.  Shamea, Porsha’s “lapdog,” is starting to reach her limit, but despite prodding from the ladies, she isn’t ready to open up. However,  Shamea has no problem opening up to Ralph, with Porsha there as her witness.  When Ralph learns that Drew *allegedly* tried to sleep with Dennis in effort to get out of paying for services, things get awkward…

Kelli is busy momming, trying to balance her daughters and her ex-husband. She has outgrown her townhouse, aka the sorority house, and she is thinking about house hunting.

Shamea meets up with Ralph, Drew’s estranged husband.  Yes, you read that right.  Weird? Def.  However, we are reminded that a few years ago, Shamea and Drew were on a podcast together, so in Shamea’s eyes, it’s not that wrong of her to be hanging with him.  Shamea has brought along Porsha as her witness, and of course to make things extra messy.

Ralph claims he is meeting with Shamea to discuss his new podcast idea, Kings and Queens, but really, it seems as though he is using this as a platform to talk about Drew.  Ralph doesn’t like who Drew is becoming, especially with this whole Drew/Dennis music situation.

As Porsha and Shamea push Ralph into paying for dinner, Porsha drops bombs.  She shares the text that Dennis sent to her about Drew- the on were Drew apparently tries to offer sex in lieu of payment.  Yes, there are rumors in the streets about Drew, but Ralph ain’t buying that she is romantically linked to Dennis.  Ralph explains that he was the one to file for divorce, after Drew had an affair with Ty, but claims he never cheated on Drew.

As of now, Shamea has no beef with Drew, but she does have some issues with Angela. It’s weird to Shamea that Angela can forgive Porsha, the one saying the bad stuff, but is still holding a grudge towards Shamea for laughing at Porsha’s comments.  It is clear that defending Porsha is bringing some problems into the group.

Over at Angela’s investment property (one of five, btw), we learn Angela is in debt $2 million dollars. She knows Kelli is house hunting and so, Angela is able to kill two birds with one stone: sell a house AND clear up a long-standing rumor.

Kelli admits to feeling badly for saying Charles had a secret baby and Angela opens up about how the rumor started.  Years ago, Charles was on the Wendy Williams show.  Angela made a comment to Wendy, whose husband had a secret baby, that she was also in the same boat; HOWEVER, Angela was referencing her FIRST husband…not Charles.  The rumor spread like wild fire, Charles didn’t care to clarify, and the rest is history.  That’s not to say Charles never had “instances of infidelity…”

Angela then spills some tea that Shamea confided in her about Porsha, some unresolved issues of hurt.  Porsha did not go to Shamea’s wedding and instead of confronting Porsha, Shamea remains quiet, afraid to have the conversation.  Shamea confiding about not wanting to be Porsha’s sidekick doesn’t vibe with her staying mute about her feelings…

Brit is prepping for her mom moving in and she is simultaneously trying to figure out things with Angela. She wonders when Angela is going to take some accountability for pushing Brit to talk about her husband’s personal life.

Porsha is only invited to Angela’s rental property, since she would never let Porsha into her regular home. LOL. Porsha and Angela take part in a terrible “game” of tennis. After a lousy round, they sit down to talk about Angela’s helicopter parenting and her daughter’s secret wedding.

When it comes to the Pampered by Porsha event, Porsha explains that everyone is invited and Angela wonders if Porsha can have a conversation with Drew.  Since having dinner with Ralph, Porsha is even more turned off by Drew’s actions, but Angela is not so sure Drew would go that low…  However, they can both agree that Drew’s comment about how her earnings in music can contribute to Porsha’s daughter’s college fund is a low move. Drew is quoted as saying, “these royalties and the way this is all set up, it can pay for PJ’s college.”

Angela gets all loose-lipped with Porsha and spills what Shamea told her.  According to Angela, Shamea feels like her friendship with Porsha is “lopsided” and that Porsha did not want Shamea to be a part of the group.  Porsha denies this, but explains that Shamea’s husband did not want to film so…  Angela states that Shamea doesn’t want to look like Porsha’s lap dog, but she is afraid to talk to Porsha about these issues.  An emotional Porsha leaves in tears, upset about this information.

Ralph and Drew have ceased communication, but they cannot tell the kids they are divorced because it is in the court order.  However, Drew CAN FaceTime her life coach a room over from her son and explain that recent “pile on” that’s been happening in her life with Ralph and company. Drew thinks this is all unfair and wonders why Dennis would make up that she wanted to sleep with him, considering she thought they were on the same musical page together.

Porsha’s Pampered by Porsha event is a way for her friends to test out her new line and have fun.  That’s so cute of Porsha to think everything will go smoothly, but Porsha claims to be done arguing with Drew. She has hired a photographer to snap the ladies in her gear and Drew throws shade in her confessional by asking if she is now an ambassador for Pampered by Porsha, or if these pictures are for her personal Instagram, no strings attached.

Things between Shamea and Porsha are weird.  Porsha is not sure how to navigate it, so she just takes on the victim role.  It seems like this whole “sisterhood circle” is hell bent on fracturing the friendship between Porsha and Shamea.  Kelli wants to talk to Shamea about being Porsha’s lapdog and Angela feels like Shamea is up Porsha’s a*s.  Shamea feels lost, confused why Porsha would not mention the conversation she had with Angela to her.

Shamea is hardly participating in the meditation because she does not feel safe and comfortable. She is having a hard time releasing her feelings and does not feel at peace.  Kelli sees that Shamea is struggling and lets her know that everything Shamea told Angela, Angela went back and told Porsha.  Awkward.

The sister circle gets opened up after the meditation exercise and Angela speaks to Porsha first.  She appreciates Porsha’s apology and now they are moving towards a future friendship.  Kelli admires Shamea and Porsha’s friendship, but wants them to have a true conversation about how they feel about each other.  She points out that Porsha doesn’t allow Shamea to be her best self and Porsha states that she feels like a “piece of sh*t.” Is this tone sarcastic?

Porsha confronts Shamea, suggesting Shamea told others that Porsha didn’t want her on the show. Shamea appears to take this back citing that Porsha showed her receipts which refuted this claim after Shamea confronted her off-camera. Shamea then admits to Porsha that she is not an angel, but wonders what is happening to their friendship.

Porsha also wonders what would make Shamea question their friendship, and for one, it’s deep feelings about Porsha not coming to Shamea’s wedding.  They just brushed that under the rug. Angela continues to push and advocate for Shamea to speak up, but Shamea wonders why everyone is hell bent on attacking her friendship with Porsha.  Cynthia realizes that Porsha and Shamea have been friends since they were children, but they have had some challenges…if they can overcome these issues, well that is another story…
