Now that the first trailer for Marvel Studios’ Ironheart has been released, fans are discussing the show’s visuals and Ryan Coogler’s involvement, while some are hoping that Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark could make a cameo.
Ironheart will premiere on Disney+ this coming June. The series sees Dominique Thorne reprise her MCU role as Riri Williams after she initially debuted in 2022’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
Anthony Ramos, meanwhile, plays Parker Robbins/The Hood in the show, while the cast further includes Lyric Ross, Alden Ehrenreich, Regan Aliyah, Manny Montana, Matthew Elam, and Anji White.
“Set after the events of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Ironheart pits technology against magic when Riri—determined to make her mark on the world—returns to her hometown of Chicago,” the official synopsis reads. “Her unique take on building iron suits is brilliant, but in pursuit of her ambitions, she finds herself wrapped up with the mysterious yet charming Parker Robbins aka The Hood (Anthony Ramos).”

Coogler’s involvement is also a point of discussion, as he is an executive producer on the show. Fans are excited to see what kind of influence he brings to Ironheart; however, many people are also questioning why Marvel isn’t better marketing the fact that the Sinners director is involved with Ironheart.
After the success of Sinners, Marvel really should be playing up the fact that Ryan Coogler is producing Ironheart. What a fumble.Streaming June 24th pic.twitter.com/LDa1v1xDjt
