Cassie claims that the jealousy train between her and Diddy went both ways, admitting that while he was allegedly jealous over Kid Cudi and Michael B. Jordan, she felt “jealousy” over Diddy’s ex and children’s mother Kim Porter and ex-girlfriend, Gina Huynh — whom Cassie says both dated Diddy during their relationship. She also claims he told her to seek help for drug abuse during their time together.

On Thursday (May 15), Diddy’s defense team cross-examined Casandra “Cassie” Ventura during his federal sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy trial. Diddy, born Sean Combs, is facing at least 15 years in prison if convicted of all charges. He has pleaded not guilty to one count of racketeering conspiracy, two counts of sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion, and two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.
While on the witness stand, Cassie admitted feeling “some jealousy” towards Diddy’s ex, Kim Porter, whom he dated on-and-off from 1994 until 2007. In 2018, Porter passed away from lobar pneumonia. The late actress and model is also the mother of three of Diddy’s six children: son Christian “King” Combs and twin daughters D’Lila Combs and Jessie Combs. Diddy is also the bonus father to Porter’s son with Al B. Sure, Quincy Brown.
Diddy also shares son Justin Combs with Misa Hylton, daughter Chance Combs with Sarah Chapman, and youngest daughter Love Combs with Dana Tran.

Cassie Admits To ‘Jealousy’ Over Kim Porter And Gina Huynh Seeing Diddy During Relationship
During Thursday’s hearing, Cassie admitted that on one occasion, Diddy left an alleged “freak-off” to go see Kim Porter at another hotel, per NBC News. She also confessed to getting upset at and resenting Diddy spending the holidays with his children and Porter, and not with her.
Diddy’s defense attorney, Teny Geragos, also claimed that jealousy and drugs fueled a lot of the fights between Diddy and Cassie. Geragos said Cassie broke up with Diddy in 2018 after Kim Porter’s funeral when she realized he would never marry her.
Cassie told the jury that Diddy was dating her and Kim Porter around the same time. Recalling the beginning of their relationship, she said:
“We started to spend more time together. We were spending a lot of time together one on one—it was not public for many years. He just didn’t want it to look bad but also knew it was because of his children and personal things like his family.”
Cassie admitted that around this time of getting to know each other, Diddy was publicly dating Kim Porter. She was also upset after learning about Diddy spending time with another ex-girlfriend: Gina Huynh in 2014. The singer said the repeated cheating with Porter and Huynh, plus several other women, further fueled arguments between the two.

Cassie Said Diddy Told Her To Seek Help For Drug Use
In addition to infidelity and jealousy fueling arguments, drugs had its own role. Elsewhere during cross-examination, Cassie said that in early 2017, she got very sick from her drug use and began to seek help. She said, “I lost all sense of smell and taste when I woke up, and I had numbing in my arm.”
Cassie also said that she experienced some dissociative side effects from ketamine use. She further admitted that Diddy highlighted her struggles with drug addiction and attempted to help. She said after noticing her symptoms, he suggested she see doctors.
The singer further claimed he even told drug dealers in Los Angeles to stop supplying her with products. Cassie claimed she and Diddy both did a lot of drugs and that she didn’t tell him everything about her drug use throughout their relationship.
