On Wednesday (May 21), George Kaplan testified in Sean “Diddy” Combs’ federal criminal trial in New York City. Kaplan claims part of his work as an executive assistant at Combs Enterprises saw Diddy calling him to set up hotel rooms for his alleged “freak-offs.” He says he was ordered to put out baby oil, lube, candles, drugs, and more.
Kaplan told the jury that he booked rooms for Diddy at various hotels in New York, Miami, and Los Angeles. One venue included the InterContinental Hotel in LA. This is the hotel where Diddy was captured on surveillance assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Casandra “Cassie” Ventura, in March 2016.
However, Kaplan said he only worked for Diddy from 2013 to 2015. He said he logged 80 to 100 hours a week for a starting salary of $125,000. He also claimed Diddy would sometimes threaten to fire him. Diddy allegedly told him he only wanted to be surrounded by the best.

Diddy Allegedly Used Alias ‘Frank Black’ At Hotels For Alleged ‘Freak-Offs,’ Name Reference Biggie’s ‘Frank White’ Alias
According to Kaplan, he would reserve rooms for Diddy under the alias “Frank Black.” He claims the name came from one of The Notorious B.I.G.‘s nicknames, “Frank White.” Kaplan’s statement also coincides with testimony from another witness. A sex worker named Daniel Phillip testified that he was told to say the codename/codeword “Black” to hotel management to get up to Combs’ room. Cassie also told the court that Diddy used the alias “Frank Black,” as some evidentiary text messages refer to “FB.”
Kaplan further testified Diddy would have him pack bags with all the alleged “freak-offs” essentials beforehand. He said he would then unpack the items inside the hotel rooms. This involved setting up candles, Astroglide lubricant, Johnson & Johnson’s baby oil, and more.

Diddy’s Ex Assistant George Kaplan Explains Why He Cleaned Up After Alleged ‘Freak-Offs’
Kaplan told the court that instead of tipping off housekeepers, he would clean up the rooms after the alleged “freak-offs.” He told the jurors that it was to protect Diddy’s public image by preventing embarrassing photos from leaking. The former assistant said he would collect bottles of baby oil, alcohol, and Gatorade. He even once discovered “brown crystalized powder” on a bathroom countertop.
Kaplan also claimed Diddy sent him on runs during the hotel stays. He said he would bring back food, clothes, and sometimes drugs, including Advil, Ketamine, and MDMA. He alleged Diddy gave him money and a number to call before returning with drugs and other items for him.
