Ye has apparently had a change of heart when it comes to Jewish people and has denounced his years of anti-Semitism.
Ye Says He’s Over His Anti-Semitism Phase
Ye has been relatively quiet for the past couple of weeks. On Thursday (May 22), the rapper formerly known as Kanye West made a startling announcement on X.
“I am done with antisemitism,” the controversial rap star tweeted below.
“I love all people,” he added in a follow-up post. “God forgive me for the pain I’ve caused…I forgive those who have caused me pain…Thank you God…I simply got a FaceTime from my kids and I wanna save the world again…The earth itself is in Gods Kingdom…GOD CALLS FOR PEACE…Share peace…Share love.”

Ye’s Anti-Semitic Protests
It is unclear what has caused Ye to flip his way of thinking. His latest comments come after he has been spreading Jewish hate for years. Ye’s anti-Semitic side first burst into the public eye in 2022 when he went on several anti-Semitic rants online and in interviews. He even went as far as to say he approved of Hitler and the Nazis during a interview with famed conspiracy theorist Alex Jones that December. Ye’s behavior earned him the distinction of Anti-Semite of the Year from watchdog organization Stop Antisemitism.
In December of 2023, he issued an apology to the Jewish community. However, it only appeared to be a PR move. Earlier this year, he fired up the Anti-Semitism train again. In addition to continuing to call out Jewish people, he even copped a swastika chain and proudly wore a shirt with a swastika on it after attempting ot sell them on his site. Earlier this month, Ye released a song called “Heil Hitler,” which was pulled from streaming services.
At least for now, it looks like Ye has changed his ways.
