Ariana Biermann offered an update on how her younger siblings were coping with Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann‘s divorce while appearing on Monday’s episode of Gia Giudice‘s podcast.
As she also revealed which of her Next Gen NYC castmates she was close to prior to filming and addressed the possibility of a second season, Ariana, 23, admitted that Kim, 47, and Kroy’s youngest children were experiencing behavior issues, spoke of the latest drama between her parents, and shared Kim’s “final straw” in their marriage.
“That’s what sucks,” Ariana told Gia, 24, on the June 9 episode of Casual Chaos as they discussed divorce’s impact on kids. “That’s what I constantly tell my parents: It’s [about the kids] and that’s who you need to be focused on.”
In the years since Kim and Kroy’s marriage came to an end, things between the former couple have been extremely contentious, with calls to police and accusations against one another made in the press.
Of the back and forth, Ariana said, “All of this is coming from a place of hurt and anger and money,” and she noted that her siblings, brothers Kroy “KJ” Jagger, 14, and Kash Kade, 12, and twins Kaia Rose and Kane Ren, 11, were victims of their parents’ battle.
“Money destroys so many things, so many relationships, and the stress of that, and my siblings should never have to think about money, should never have to worry about anything that’s going on … it’s just so horrible, everything,” she admitted. “My little sister [Kaia] acts crazy. She needs to be in therapy … Everybody should be in therapy. My brothers … They’re like, ‘I’m not going to talk to this weirdo.’ My brothers will sit there … and literally not say a damn word. Nothing.”
Amid their split, Kim has gone through a series of phones because, as Ariana shared, Kroy, 39, has “hacked” into her old ones.
“My dad hacks her phones, and she has to get new phones,” Ariana revealed. “They’re not on the same phone plan. She got a new phone plan, but then [somehow] he did something else … [so] she’s got three phones.”
While Ariana admitted to wanting Kim and Kroy to “figure it out” and often prayed that they would “find their way back to each other,” she now believes “too much damage [has been] done.”
“I think the final straw for my mom has just been the full custody battle that we’re all gonna have to go through. We’re all gonna have to go to court and give our testimonies and witness statements … it’s just like, the most insane thing ever,” she explained. “Like, I can’t even imagine it.”
Also on the podcast, Ariana confirmed her ties to the Next Gen NYC cast.
“We weren’t all best friends, and I didn’t really know anybody. I really [only knew] [Gia] and [Brooks Marks] and Brooks wasn’t my best friend in the world.”
According to Ariana, Brooks was the “common denominator” among the group.
As for a potential second season, Ariana said she was hopeful.
“It’s gonna be even crazier because now we’re all at a different level of comfortability, and I feel like it would just be like amazing,” she stated. “There wouldn’t be a quiet moment. I feel like it would be more even getting into it with each other because we know each other. ‘I didn’t like you then. I don’t like you now.’”
“[But] I think that there would be maybe a little bit of a different cast next season,” she added.
Next Gen NYC season one airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
