Kristin Cavallari is discovering that her podcast tour will inevitably include a lot of highs and some emotional lows.
During the Wednesday, June 11, episode of Honestly Cavallari: The Headline Tour, Kristin, 38, was visibly upset after some of her exes made awkward comments during her shows.
“For me, it’s so triggering because every guy in my life, including my own f***ing dad, has done this s*** to me,” she said. “Everyone is so f***ing insecure. I’m over it. I’m going to get an IV.”
In the June 4 episode of Honestly Cavallari, Kristin felt uncomfortable after her Laguna Beach costar Talan Torriero made some jokes at her expense. In this week’s show, her first boyfriend — simply referred to as Johnny — accused her of hooking up with other classmates.
“I think because my dad is a narcissist, he always made me feel like I wasn’t good enough and for so many years, I was attracted to similar types of men who were emotionally unavailable,” Kristin said in a confessional interview. “[At the shows] in Chicago, it all hit me like a ton of bricks.”
Us Weekly has reached out to Kristin’s dad for comment on the episode and her characterization.

While Kristin may have come off as a confident young adult who didn’t tolerate BS on Laguna Beach and The Hills, the reality star admitted that she wasn’t as strong as the cameras portrayed.
“It’s crazy because everyone thought I was so confident growing up, but really, I was insecure,” she said. “I was actually in survival mode. Had I really loved myself, I wouldn’t t have put up with a lot of the bulls*** I did. I’m going to be really serious about who I let into my life from now on.”
Today, Kristin remains single as she focuses on a variety of projects, including her “Let’s Be Honest” podcast and Uncommon James jewelry and beauty businesses.
When exes do make questionable comments, Kristin said it reminds her of how she’s changed for the better.

“No guy has taken accountability in my life ever,” she said. “I’ve allowed these men into my life and I can see it a mile away now, and that’s just a nice reminder of how far I’ve come.”
Kristin was last linked to Montana Boyz TikTok member Mark Estes. She was also married to former NFL player Jay Cutler for nearly seven years before announcing their divorce in 2020. The former couple shares three kids together.
