Doomsday Adds Fan-Favorite MCU Character to Cast

Hasbro is going way off the beaten path with this year’s big Marvel Legends SDCC exclusive, and I kind of love how weird it is.

Announced ahead of San Diego Comic-Con 2025, the “Hasbro Marvel Legends Series Gamerverse Marvel Snap Savage Land 3-Pack” is not your usual Avengers line-up or MCU tie-in.

This is a collectible set straight out of Marvel Snap, the hit digital card game, and it’s putting the spotlight on a trio of characters that even some comic fans might have to Google.

The set includes Rogue, Sauron, and Shanna the She-Devil, all styled after their designs in the Savage Land season of Marvel Snap. That means bold colors, stylized details, and a strong dose of prehistoric pulp vibes.

Let’s break this down:

Rogue is the most familiar face—X-Men legend, power-absorbing southern powerhouse, and longtime staple of comics, animation, and film.

Sauron is a deep-cut X-Men villain who is, quite literally, a flying dinosaur vampire. A Pterodactylus with a lab coat-level intellect and the power to absorb energy like Rogue. And yes, he’s the source of that Spider-Man and the X-Men #2 meme where Spidey says he could cure cancer, and Sauron responds:

“I don’t want to cure cancer. I want to turn people into dinosaurs.”

Shanna the She-Devil is a jungle-dwelling super-athlete, a fierce veterinarian-turned-warrior introduced in the early ’70s. She’s been a recurring player in Savage Land-based storylines, particularly alongside Ka-Zar in various X-Men comics.

The figures look really cool and they are stylized, detailed, and visually distinct from typical Marvel Legends fare.

The set will be available first at Hasbro’s booth (#3213) at San Diego Comic-Con 2025. If you’re planning to get one, expect a lottery or reservation system to be involved—check the official SDCC site for updates. After the con, limited stock will be sold on HasbroPulse.com, priced at $90.
