A lot has changed since fans last saw the Plaths on Welcome to Plathville — including three new romances and one major feud. According to the season 7 trailer, the drama has just begun.
“There’s been lots of changes in the family, or should I say, additions,” Barry Plath teases in the new season trailer, which dropped on Wednesday, June 18, kicking off next month.
The family proceeds to introduce viewers to the newest love interests of Lydia Plath, Isaac Plath and eldest brother Ethan Plath.
Lydia, 21, reveals she “finally found someone that I knew was The One” with then-boyfriend Zac Wyse. The pair vow to save their first kiss for their wedding day, “among all the other firsts.” (Lydia and Zac tied the knot in February.)

Younger brother Isaac, meanwhile, introduces fans to his new flame, girlfriend Kaylyn, who he says is “a keeper.”
The most surprising romance, however, is Ethan’s budding relationship with Teegan Nichols following his divorce from Olivia Plath. (Ethan and Olivia, both 27, split in October 2023 after five years of marriage.)
“After me and Olivia broke up, I went on a couple dates. Out of the blue, I found The One,” Ethan reveals, before taking a slight jab at his ex-wife. “Second time around the absence of drama is amazing. In no situation would I ever want any of that back.”
As three of the Plath siblings’ love lives are on an upward trajectory, it appears that Micah Plath’s relationship with Veronica Peters is on the rocks.

“I used to do makeup with Moriah [Plath] all the time,” she tells one of the Plath sisters, confessing, “We don’t talk anymore. I feel like I’ve not only lost a friend but a sister. And then I was the problem.”
Moriah, who is now rocking jet black hair, admits to the cameras, “Things with me and Veronica are rocky. I don’t want there to be any bad blood but there is.”
Ethan hints at even more drama with Veronica this season, comparing her issues to that of Olivia’s. (Olivia famously butted heads with Ethan’s mom, Kim Plath, following their engagement and distanced herself from the family ahead of their divorce.)
“Veronica thinks that my family was out to get her. Olivia thought the same thing,” Ethan says in the video, which Micah, 24, seemingly confirms.
Micah, who teased a possible future engagement with Veronica during season 6, notes in the trailer: “I’m trying to ride the line of not doing what I feel like Ethan did. He took Olivia’s side, didn’t talk to my mom or dad. I don’t want anything close to that.”

In the clip, Ethan warns Veronica, “If you want to be a part of this family this is the price you pay.” She fires back, “I’m going to be honest, I don’t know if I want to be part of the family.”
As things appear to fall apart between Veronica and Micah’s family, she ominously warns, “I know this will go bad. Mark my words.”
Veronica then calls Olivia, who has cut off nearly all ties with the Plaths, to seek advice about the family.
“I should have warned you,” Olivia admits, hinting that she and Veronica might have similar experiences with the Plaths.
The seemingly close bond between the women is a stark contrast from season 6 when Veronica called Olivia a “narcissist” while chatting with patriarch Barry Plath.
Welcome to Plathville season 7 premieres on TLC Tuesday, July 22, at 10 p.m. ET.
