Britani Bateman revealed that her boyfriend, Jared Osmond, broke up with her in a voice memo, said the new season of the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City is “bats**t,” and shared what was “cut out” last season when she was demoted to a “friend of.”
As castmates filmed the new season, reports surfaced that Bronwyn allegedly faced charges of identity theft and grand theft in her past. As of now, Bronwyn hasn’t said much about the allegations. Last year, Bronwyn and Britani feuded continually.
On Ace Fanning and Ana Quincoces‘ “Reality Court” podcast, Britani addressed a Christmas EP she filmed on the show last season.
“We filmed a bunch of stuff [on RHOSLC for] the EP, and then since I was reduced to ‘friend of’ instead of [given a] snowflake, they cut all that out,” she said. “I was waiting for … those episodes to drop, and then I was going to release the EP and [the episodes] just like came and went [and] it didn’t make it in.”
Britani was later asked about the upcoming season.
“Your jaw’s gonna drop,” she said. “It’s bats**t crazy.”
Ace then asked, “Do we get into the Bronwyn identity situation?”
Britani smiled, pursing her lips. “Maybe,” she answered, hinting that she can’t give “tea like that.”
Back in April, amid filming on the new season, there were rumors and rumblings alleging that Bronwyn Newport allegedly had a criminal past.
“I can tell you that literally this ensemble cast knocked it out of the park,” she said. “Our showrunner Lori — I mean, she is brilliant … She’s boots on the ground and she’s the editor too — so she films things the way she can picture it being edited later. I mean she’s just a genius. And I think the combination of everyone, all of us just laying our hearts out and just putting everything on the table … not holding anything back, and her genius … She should win an Emmy.”
Ana asked if the cast was “warmer” to Britani this season.
“No,” Britani answered. “But the difference is that after last season, I went and watched every episode of every season.”
She also revealed that Jared “broke up with me” earlier this week.
“For the very first time in two whole years that we’ve been together, he broke up with me yesterday,” she said, alluding to their many past breakups. “My heart’s broken … Obviously we’re dysfunctional, and … love isn’t everything. Like, you have to be compatible. You have to want the same things for a relationship to work, and we clearly don’t … This really is the end.”
Britani said they’re amicable, and he broke up with her in a voice memo.
