Priyanka Chopra Jonas turned a series of fashion hiccups into comedy gold after the UK special screening of Heads of State on July 1. The actress, who attended the event with her husband Nick Jonas, later shared a behind-the-scenes Instagram video detailing the fashion and beauty blunders she faced that night.

At the Heads of State event in London, Priyanka Chopra dazzled in a bold fringe dress from Burberry’s Fall/Winter 2025 collection. The full-length black, red, and brown look featured layers of fringe and a black leather belt cinched at the waist. She paired it with a new set of wispy bangs while walking hand-in-hand with Nick Jonas. But according to Chopra, the night wasn’t as smooth as it looked.
In an Instagram reel, the Citadel star showed off the moments fans didn’t get to see. “I’m an actress. Of course my nail falls off right before the red carpet,” she said, pointing at her manicure missing a nail. She continued, “I’m an actress, of course my belt falls off on stage in front of everyone,” laughing while adjusting the then-drooping belt.
The playful jabs didn’t stop there. “I’m an actress, of course my plus-one stole my love,” she joked, right as Nick Jonas popped into frame looking confused. She wrapped the reel with one final laugh, “Of course I’m promoting my summer blockbuster in midsummer heat in fall/winter 2025 Burberry,” before giving her dress a dramatic twirl.
In the lead-up to the UK event, Priyanka Chopra also walked the carpet at the Heads of State’s New York premiere on June 24. Speaking to E! News, she revealed that her daughter Malti Marie accompanied her during the shoot in Provence.
“She had the most amazing time… She and her grandma would go to this bakery to get croissants and bring them home,” Chopra shared. Her daughter even picked up some on-set lingo, calling craft services “crafty.”
