Apple TV+ just dropped the teaser for The Morning Show Season 4, and it features the return of Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon, and offers shadowy reflections, and the sense that reality itself might be breaking down.
Premiering September 17, the new season leans hard into the chaos of 2025, zeroing in on the merger between UBA and NBN, and the unsettling rise of artificial intelligence and deepfakes. Apple’s official logline promises high-stakes tension:
“With the UBA-NBN merger complete, the newsroom must grapple with newfound responsibility, hidden motives and the elusive nature of truth in a polarized America. In a world rife with deepfakes, conspiracy theories and corporate cover-ups — who can you trust? And how can you know what’s actually real?”
The teaser wastes no time diving into that paranoia. Alex (Aniston) and Bradley (Witherspoon) walk alone through a series of windows, their reflections trailing behind them, until those reflections start shifting into other characters.
Returning cast members include Mark Duplass, Billy Crudup, Jon Hamm, Greta Lee, Karen Pittman Nicole Beharie and Nestor Carbonell, with newcomers Jeremy Irons, Aaron Pierre, and William Jackson Harper joining the already stacked ensemble.
Charlotte Stoudt remains showrunner, with Mimi Leder directing and producing alongside Michael Ellenberg, Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Aniston, and others.
