Ciara and Russell Wilson were the center of attention on the red carpet at the 2025 ESPY Awards.
The singer, 39, and the New York Giants quarterback, 36, stayed close to one another as they posed for photos outside of the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on Wednesday, July 16. The pair smiled for the cameras while they kept their arms interlocked.
Wilson looked dapper in a navy velvet suit jacket paired with a black button-up and matching pants. Ciara, meanwhile, dazzled in a nude off-the-shoulder gown with crystal embellishments.
Ciara and Wilson tied the knot in July 2016 after more than a year of dating. The couple share three children — daughter Sienna, 8, son Win, 4, and daughter Amora, 19 months — while Ciara is also the mother of son Future Jr., 11, with her ex-fiancé, Future.

In March, Ciara showed her support for Wilson after he signed with the New York Giants. (He previously played for the Seattle Seahawks from 2012 to 2021, where he won a Super Bowl, before moving on with the Denver Broncos from 2022 to 2023 and the Pittsburgh Steelers from 2024 to 2025.)
“Been here before … can’t wait to do it again #MetLife @nygiants,” Wilson wrote via his Instagram Stories at the time, referring to his Super Bowl XLVIII win at Met Life Stadium against the Denver Broncos in February 2014.
Ciara subsequently reposted Wilson’s message, adding blue, white and red hearts to represent the Giants’ colors. In a follow-up post, she praised her husband for his relentless work ethic.
“New York state of mind!” she captioned a photo of Wilson. “My greatest inspiration.”

One month earlier, Ciara gushed over the “incredible respect” she has for Wilson’s career, noting that she loves to cheer him on from the sidelines.
“He actually helped me with my nerves, kind of, early on because you feel like ‘woo’ when you see someone on his back,” she told Cam Heyward during a February episode of his “Not Just Football” podcast. “I’m like I wish there was a way to be in the helmet, like, ‘Babe, he’s right behind you.’ But you can’t do that. I feel like I’m connected to him, so whatever he goes through, I go through. We’re an extension of you guys in some regard.”
Wilson, for his part, revealed on Carmelo Anthony’s “7PM in Brooklyn” podcast in May that he’d planned to stay single for “10 years” after his divorce from Ashton Meem and prior to meeting Ciara.
“[Ciara] came and she just changed everything,” he recalled. “She changed everything.”

Wilson remembered coming up with a list of “non-negotiables” for his future partner, including being a “believer,” “faithful” and “a woman that was gonna love me the way my mom loved my dad.”
Wilson “prayed over” the list with his pastor and ultimately met Ciara “three days later.”
Wilson also raved over his special bond with his kids on the podcast.
“Having children, man, it’s been so cool,” he said. “It really shows you what love is, to be able to love kids and do that.”
