Pete Davidson’s Baby News Sparks Emotional Confession

Pete Davidson is stepping into one of the most exciting chapters of his life after news broke that he and girlfriend Elsie Hewitt are expecting their first child this winter.

Recently, the 31‑year‑old confirmed he has always dreamed of becoming a father, something he first admitted during a 2022 chat with Kevin Hart.

Now, with a baby on the way, Davidson says he is ready to embrace family life and focus on building a future filled with love, stability, and new beginnings.

Davidson is counting the days till he becomes a dad.

On Tuesday, the comedian broke his silence after his model girlfriend confirmed that they are expecting a baby.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Davidson expressed his delight over the news. “Well, I honestly couldn’t be more excited. As you know, it’s been my dream forever since I was a little kid,” he said.

Davidson spoke about his partner, praising and describing her as “one of my favorite people to ever exist ever.”

He also shared that he was positive Hewitt would be a great mother. “She’s going to be a great mom, and I’m just stoked. I hope to be a, you know, the dad I hoped that I would have,” the actor revealed.

Taking to her Instagram page on July 16, the 29-year-old posted a carousel of photos and videos that gave fans a glimpse into their private celebration.

One image showed Davidson shirtless, smiling as he gently cradled her growing bump.

In another snap, the couple held hands during an ultrasound appointment, while a close‑up of the sonogram appeared in the next slide.

Hewitt added her playful humor to the announcement, captioning the post, “Welp now everyone knows we had sex,” alongside laughing emojis.

She also added a few funny memes, including a clip from “Love Island USA” and a SpongeBob reference, keeping the reveal lighthearted.

“He is excited about this next chapter,” an insider told Us Weekly.

Fans also shared in Davidson and Hewitt’s excitement as they stormed the latter’s comments section, dropping congratulatory messages.

Amidst the news, insiders revealed that Hewitt’s pregnancy was a surprise, as the couple had never planned to start a family.

However, they clarified that even though the pregnancy was unplanned, the duo was ecstatic.

“Pete and Elsie definitely weren’t planning on starting a family but are over the moon about it. They are so excited. Pete and Elsie have a really playful relationship, and things are going really well,” a source told Us Weekly.

They also shared that the pregnancy has helped their relationship and solidified their bond.

“This has brought them closer. It’s a healthy relationship for Pete. Pete has always wanted to be a dad and thinks the timing in his life is perfect. He couldn’t have done it a few years ago but is in a very different place in life now,” the insider revealed.

Prior to the pregnancy, Davidson had been candid about his desire to become a family man.

During a 2022 episode of Kevin Hart’s “Hart to Heart” talk show, the “Saturday Night Live” star shared, “I’m definitely a family guy. My favorite thing ever, which I have yet to achieve, I wanna have a kid. That’s like, my dream.”

Davidson imagined the activities he would do as a father, like dressing up his child, and described it as “fun.”

“I’m so excited for that chapter. That’s kind of what I’m just preparing for now, is just trying to be as good as a dude, develop and get better so when that happens it’s just easier. … Since my dad died, I was like, ‘Oh, I can’t wait to have a kid,’” he explained.
