Drake has announced that he has been forced to cancel one of his sold out shows in Manchester, England.
The 6 God was due to perform at the city’s Co-Op Arena tonight (July 28) but has claimed issues with travel have led to a postponement in the concert.
The show is now scheduled to take place on August 5 meaning fans won’t have to wait long to see the Canadian superstar.
It is not known what the travel issues are given Drake has already performed two dates in the city.
In a statement, the venue said: “Due to unforeseen ferry schedule and travel logistics, tomorrow’s performance in Manchester on July 28th has been rescheduled.”
They added: “The good news is that Drake will now perform in Manchester on Tuesday, August 5th, and it’s set to be an unforgettable night.”
All tickets bought for the original show will remain valid for the new date.
Drake’s UK tour has so far been eventful with the “Which One” rapper taking time out of his time in Birmingham to honor rock legend, Ozzy Osborne, who was from the city.
The 6 God took to the stage in the UK’s second city, walking out to Black Sabbath’s iconic hit “Iron Man”.
He then said to the crowd: “Hey Birmingham! Rest in peace to the legendary Ozzy Osbourne.”
Earlier in the day, Drake attended a local memorial for the heavy metal pioneer where he poured out some tequila for the notoriously hard living legend.
He also said to The New York Times: “I just came out to pay respects to someone who lived it to the fullest.”
Drake’s latest single also comes with a guest verse from British MC Central Cee.
Entitled “Which One”, the track is a ladies anthem which sees the 6 God once again flirting with afrobeats and dancehall with him often rapping in what appears to be a Caribbean accent.
On the sultry song, Drizzy raps: “You’re not like the tings you’re around / You’re a real good girl, so I’m bringin’ you down / But come to the bed, I’ll fling you around.”
Drake previously played a brief snippet of the track during his three night headline stint at Wireless Festival earlier this month.
