“You were my man. The only man for me,” Linda Hogan wrote on social media — one week after sharing a photo of them together which she captioned, “The good old days!”
Hulk Hogan’s ex-wife Linda Hogan has reacted to his death, calling it “just shocking” as she reveals she’s “melting down now” over the news.
Her reaction came in an Instagram comment on a post she shared just last week — before the wrestling great’s death — one which showed her alongside Hulk with the caption, “The good old days!” In her own comment section, she began, “I had no idea he would pass away this soon. We all really thought he would make a come back! Big surprise. We are all devastated.”

“It’s hitting me so hard. I loved Hulkster more than he loved me. It hurt when he cheated. But he was sooo famous. I sort of [understood] but it was crushing. It hurt,” she continued. “I [never] got over him or started a real relationship w anyone .. I missed HIM! I’ve been weeping all day. The finality. It’s just shocking.”
“We spent every minute together for so many years. I’ve known him since he was 28 yrs old!” she added, saying she still has love for her ex.
According to Linda, she “never spoke or saw him” in recent years, but would hear life updates about him through the couple’s son, Nick.
“I still felt .. although broken .. we still were a family,” she concluded. “It’s so hard to know he’s just gone. I tried to stay strong for Nick .. but I’m melting down now. It’s very sad. I love you Hulkster. You were my man. The only man for me. RIP.”

Linda is mom to Hogan’s two children, Nick and Brooke Hogan.
Hogan was married to Linda from 1983 to July 2009, when their divorce was finalized. When the two split, Linda claimed he had cheated on her with one of their daughter’s best friends.
“There were infidelities. It scared me because I thought ‘Oh my God, is that my fault? Is he moving on? Am I just a dumb housewife? Am I too fat, am I too dumb?’ You just start doubting yourself and that was really sad,” Linda told Good Morning America back in 2009.
Per ABC’s reporting, Hulk admitted to the affair — but said his marriage to Linda was “irrevocably broken and over” already.
He later married Jennifer McDaniel in 2010, and separated from her a year later. Most recently, Hogan expanded his family as he tied the knot with his girlfriend Sky Daily in a small ceremony in Clearwater, Florida, according to TMZ.

Previously, Linda shared a tearful confession about her strained relationship with her daughter earlier this year.
“There was a recent video posted by my Mother that was concerning enough for people to send [it] to me,” Brooke said in a lengthy messaged shared to her Instagram March 27, “That has made me feel the need to address the tip of a very large iceberg that is my immediate family. What little I am addressing does not even scratch the surface of what I’ve dealt with my entire life.”
She stressed she has largely tried to avoid the spotlight in more recent years in order to “have peace” in her life, adding, “I have my own family now and it’s affecting more than just me at this point.”
“No contact with my Mom has nothing to do with my Dad, and no contact with my Father has nothing to do with my Mother.”
