Jax Taylor Confesses To Using Fake Accounts Online

Jax Taylor has made a confession no one saw coming: he has been secretly using a burner account to promote himself on social media.

Adding an unexpected twist, his estranged wife, Brittany Cartwright, has also backed up his claims about running the secret account.

The surprising admission comes during a period of significant personal changes, as Jax Taylor has been focusing on his sobriety and even stepped away from “The Valley” to embrace a new lifestyle.

The admission came during the final installment of “The Valley’s” three-part reunion, when host Andy Cohen jokingly asked if “Frank Dremon” was welcome inside Taylor’s bar, prompting him to come clean.

Taylor explained the name was inspired by “The Naked Gun’s” Frank Drebin. In his words, “Oh, my burner account? Frank Dremon from Naked Gun. It’s my burner account. It’s not a big deal.” He also told Cohen he has not used the account in some time.

Bravo reported that reunion viewers were then shown examples of the posts made under the pseudonym. One called Taylor “a legend,” while another asked, “What’s it like to be perfect? He is the show, hands down.” 

In a surprising twist, Taylor’s estranged wife had outed him earlier, confirming that the account did in fact belong to him. She claimed that he had mistakenly texted her, stating, “Please answer the phone like I did for you.”

Last month, The Blast shared that Taylor announced his departure after what he described as a challenging year, telling fans he needed to prioritize his sobriety, mental health, and co-parenting responsibilities. 

In his statement, he explained that taking a step back was necessary for him to become the best version of himself, especially for his son, Cruz. Cartwright called the move “a great decision by everyone” while speaking to Cohen on “Watch What Happens Live.”

But while Cartwright supported the choice, members of the show’s cast, including Tom Schwartz, Scheana Shay, and Kristen Doute, were reportedly blindsided. They had been told filming would start at the end of summer and assumed Taylor would still be involved. 

As one source put it, the announcement came as “a huge surprise” since Taylor had not hinted at leaving until the day before.

Months after revealing that he had been addicted to cocaine for 20 years and entered rehab during the show’s second season, Taylor opened up about his recovery on the “We’re Out Of Time” podcast alongside addiction recovery expert Richard Taite.

He explained that treatment completely changed his perspective on substance use, and he made a firm promise about his future. “I know for a fact, and I know you’re not supposed to say it, but I know for a fact I will not touch drugs and alcohol again,” Taylor said.

Not everyone accepted his explanation. Some fans questioned whether his recent departure from “The Valley” was truly his choice, while others suggested Bravo keep him away from production entirely.

Taylor might have stepped away from “The Valley,” but Bravo has not closed the door on him completely. The Blast reports that some claim the network is discussing a possible path back for the star, but only if he meets one key requirement. 

According to the insider, “The door is open if he can get healthier.” Taylor reportedly still has the backing of some members of the production team, including executive producer Alex Baskin, who has known him for more than a decade and also works on “Vanderpump Rules.”

While some were willing to give him another chance, his decision to leave was not entirely voluntary. A source revealed that if Taylor had not resigned, he likely would have been let go, making his exit more of a forced step than a personal choice.

Taylor has cut ties with his Studio City sports bar less than two years after opening it. The Blast shared that the former “Vanderpump Rules” star told fans in an Instagram Story last month that he was ending his partnership with the venue. 

The 45-year-old described the move as difficult but necessary, explaining that his priorities have shifted toward maintaining his sobriety and protecting his mental health.

Before his update, the bar had started removing his name from its signage. Taylor did not comment on what will happen next for the business, but made it clear that staying connected to it no longer aligns with the life he is working to build.
